Oddly enough, they say the same thing about us. And everyone else says the same about all the other languages.

Belloubet says La Belle France would "negotiate with the state in question... on a case by case basis."

And would lose on every one, either de jure or de facto later, I imagine. But both the Islamists and the idealists back home must be appeased by meaningless statements lest there be more carbeques ahead of events.

The feminine/neutral pronoun is pronounced the same in both singular and plural and derives gender from the noun it replaces. A deictic linguistic problem, set by context, found in many anglo languages.
