#2 Truly, AlanC. Especially when one reads semtences like the following:

During previous outbreaks in India, first in 2001 and then in 2007, more than 50 people have died.

Still, it offers the opportunity for the epidemiologists to better understand the disease and start work toward a vaccine, just as the last ebola epidemic did before it burnt out.
