#1 The House Dems are feeling frisky? There's legislation that will hopefully die in the Senate. Either that or there are going to be a lot of law-abiding citizens who instantly become criminals while the real criminals go armed. In the extreme, civil war will result.

#2 Under most Dem wet-dream legislation my very first gun, lo these 60 years ago, would be banned. A Remington Nylon 66 my grandmother bought for me with Green Stamps... in MA, yet.
