#5 One can always talk about the weather. Its a easy subject to entertain if there is a conversation and a lot of time to kill while you wait with strangers for the bus. Easy opinions and it passes the time.
BS and OPINIONS are valid. Nothing of any consequences, of course.
But that's the point, BS and no consequences , anyone 's opinion is equal. You will naturally avoid Al Gore, he makes money off your BS and his bank account. And anyone who makes money or political advantage off "climate change" is taking you for a fool and is working his fly down while he maneuvers in behind you. I suggest you avoid these people. They may be Liberals or French. You can ask them their opinion on the efficacy of.KY Jelly.

I have great respect for Dr. Judith Curry a climatologist and her research.
She identifies how a lot of the research monies go to the 'dominate theme of human cause climate change' which is where all the research and focus is being directed and far too little funding and effort goes into 'understanding natural climate variability'.
With her research she believes we can't tell how much of the recent warming is caused by humans.
She has left the college atmosphere and feels she can have a greater impact in the private sector, as she was vilified by colleagues by not following along in lock step with the majority. Colleges sadly are no longer the open debate, unfettered research and freedom of investigation institutions they once were, then add how the media glosses over the details.
Curry said she would like to see a greater focus on the uncertainties of climate science and a better exploration of them through scientific debate free of politics.
