I always chuckle silently when I read about Dick Armitage and Bob Novak "blowing Plame's cover". Everyone working out of an embassy (any embassy) is automatically assumed to be an intelligence asset. Here in the States, foreign embassy folks are issued Diplomatic car tags and travel restrictions. This is done for a reason.

I thought she claimed to be a NOC. Wiki - Plame served the CIA at times as a non-official cover (or NOC), operating undercover in (at least) two positions in Athens and Brussels.
