#8 I noticed something missing from the news accounts I read about this event. Usually, the ink stained wretch (disclosure: I'm a recovering ink stained wretch myself) makes sure to interview some anti death penalty protesters outside the fence. Didn't see any of that in this case.

He was a non-black guy. The sob stories get published only if the executions are of black guys. Hispanics don't get a lot of sympathy unless they're illegal aliens.
