#10 1. According to Carroll, the assault occurred in either 1995 or 1996, (I'd think a person would remember what year she was raped.)
2. She ran into Trump at the Bergdorf Goodman department store in Manhattan while they were both shopping. Trump asked her for advice on buying a piece of lingerie for an unnamed woman. (Trump doesn't strike me as a shopper; he might have an asst. do this for him)
3. Makes her at least the 16th woman to have accused Trump, ("at least?"; if you are going to do a hit piece, be specific and say, "this is the 16th such incident reported)
4. Carroll never went to the police because, she said, she was afraid of repercussions. (she was a powerful woman, what repercussions? Iibel, defamation and slander law suit?, false accusations)

Smacks of a "hit piece." As Trump says, "the Donks play dirtier than the Trunks." We've seen this tactic used against Kavanaugh, Moore, and Herman Cain.

In an interview with MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell a few minutes ago, E. Jean Carroll, who accused President Donald Trump of raping her in the ’90s, said she will not file criminal charges because it would be “disrespectful to the women who are down on the border who are being raped around the clock”:
