What an encouraging number! Apparently only one Indian female in 15,000 experiences something more or less like rape in any given year. Pffft.

#2 This news is from Bihar, a mostly leftist state - hotbed of marxist violence and communal, minority appeasement. Local politician, councilor Mohommad Khurshid (yupp !) forcibly entered the women's home in the eastern state of Bihar on wednesday with other ~~moslems~~men and allegedly attempted to rape the newly married 19-year-old daughter, police say. The poor women sustain themselves by begging. This is the kind of politicians the state of Bihar appeases. It was not even 'mob action', it was actually a kangaroo court held by village ~~idiots~~elders, the 'order' to shave their heads was stamped and dated too ! Kangaroo courts were outlawed by the central Govt. in 2018.

#4 It was a village panchayat decision, Woodrow. The panchayat is like a lesser district court, a jury of elected village heads and a sitting village ~~idiot~~ elder as judge. They are all put in the registers and stamped with fancy clan standards by the idiots. A panchayat has to record why it was called and keep minutes.

All I know from local journos is that an official sitting was called and a judgement reached, that the poor woman and the girl are prostitutes, and must be shamed. So it has to have a record.
