#2 Well it is a disturbing trend. Many people don't read the papers or listen to the news. Well they have done this to themselves. So negative and biased. Yes, and digital has not panned out also. Couldn't have happen to a nicer group of people. Remember Southern Living and Life. Too expensive and tremendous losses. I can't tell you the fix but the patient is on life support.

#4 Dale - the local terrestrial radio environment here in Boston's been seriously downhill over the past decade. We lost WBCN (hard rock) and WFNX (alternative), lost WODS (oldies / Motown) in that span, WBOS used to be a watered-down version of WFNX, then they switched to 'classic rock', but we already have WZLX for that, and WAAF (hard rock & metal) isn't as good as it once was. I could go on, but you get the picture. It's a real shit sandwich.

#5 Raj, the AM & FM stations around here are getting bought up by National/International companies like IHeart, Westwood and the like.

Content suffers afterwards and may be the issue by you, too.

I've always been suspicious of centralized media. They can 'inject' whatever content that fits their philosophy. Kind of like 'All-Union Radio' (Всесоюзное радио).
