#4 looks like the Chinese can exploit the stupidity rat problem on the West Coast.

This is something that's concerned me since hearing about Cali's fourteenth century conditions.

These conditions would be a favorable environment for concealing GW experiments and efforts on our soil should any bad actor want to do so.

This stuff isn't just a health crisis, it's a national security issue.

#6 Biological warfare is just about the stupidest possible idea anybody could ever have come up with. An massive viral or bacterial infection spreading rampantly across a country is not going to stop at a nation's borders. It's just going to kill everyone, everywhere. Nukes are in every sense of the word a cleaner option.

#8 I have no faith that a customer made disease could be made without the ability to mutate (or that widespread custom vaccination/antibiotics could be prepared without letting everyone else know that a plague release was imminent. I do believe that nukes (or ICBMs at least) are going to be obsolete though. Tech like the Iron Dome and Arrow 3 is going to spread and make widespread conventional warfare possible again. As cold hearted as it may seem, I think it will actually improve the international situation as countries that have long hated each other finally get to settle the situation without worrying about fiery international apocalypses.
