#1 New York Times article:

In addition to the problem with the navigation equipment, a pitot tube, used to determine airspeed, a measurement vital to controlling the plane, was also loose, the authorities said. Ice buildup in a pitot tube’s intake led to the 2009 crash of Air France Flight 447 over the Atlantic.

Probably just a coincidence, but perhaps a relook of crash data over the past 10 years would be in order. BTW, of the 14 related articles reviewed, NONE of them provided a foto or any additional info on Mr. Alani.

#7 What I can't understand is how did he hold his job after 9/11 ? Why didn't every airline in America fire every fucking muslim after that ? The FAA should have it policy to obstruct muslims from even handling baggage.
