#1 Good news. Political activism in its worst form.

#2 Doing the job SCOTUS refuses to do. You think they're going to curtail the power of the judiciary. Come on now, 'professional courtesy'. If the Donks were smart they'd join in at the rate Trump is getting judges on the bench.

#3 Will never pass in the house. How else are the demoncrats gonna push their agenda on the American people?

#4 The 'Pubs had every opportunity to do this between 2016 and 2018 and like a lot of other legislation, chose not to. Now like the Delta Tau Chi boys in Animal House, they choose now to make a stupid, futile gesture. Assholes.

#5 Careful what you wish for. Probably best left to SCOTUS.

#6 Lex is right, remember a Republican appointee in south Texas rained havoc on Obama's executive orders re: immigration using national injunctions. I think the better practice would be to setup an automatic accelerated appeal for every national injunction. Additionally, the Trump administration should be fighting lawfare with lawfare. The DOJ should get off its ass in Washington and seek friendly judges elsewhere.

Agreed, but I think one problem with that would be the 'institutional resistance' in the DOJ after Obama put so many of his rumpswabs on the payroll (there and everywhere else) just before he left office.

#8 If I understand correctly, even Appeals Court rulings are valid only withing their geographical area. How does a local judge have the power to issue nationwide rulings?

#9 Rumpswab... I’m stealing that! Got morning coffee in my nose laughing. Thanks a lot...

#10 How about, if a judge issues a national injunction and it's overruled by either the circuit court or SCOTUS, the judge is then taken to the white house, tarred, feathered and set on fire. So they can still issue them but only at great personal peril. And to raise money, you can watch on Pay per view.
