#3 I think that tweet says it all, really. The collective ambition for blacks in power, heads of state and empires is a real thing. It is what I call Mission Wakanda.

The shitty film was just a freudian brain-leak on screen. But the 'African Nation', 'Black Panthers' and Malcom X hubris has by now reached seditious, even putsch proportions. The intent is to commandeer the administration, public services and infrastructure for the purpose of advancing black interests, until it reaches a 'Black Supremacy' stage.

#4 Dron, I think some are beginning to understand that's it's better to have a job, than to have a an "African-American" POTUS.

#5 And it's better to have a white teacher for their kids, and a white doctor.

#6 True, there are loyal American folks too in the black community I guess. Maybe most of them, or half. The vermin though, who try to lead revolt and incite disloyalty are just too many I think. They have incredible reach and charisma.

What's also true is that the blacks were wronged maybe in the past. And the historic angst that gives them their momentum can only be contained through their betterment, concurrent with absolute prejudice for the wakandans among them. What I'm trying to say is, leaders really feel they have wronged them, and out of desperation shall continue to. Can't be helped. Their hope is to just sort of 'hold them down' until they can reach a place of forgiveness and acceptance. That will never happen. If our cultures endeavour to survive, the 'oppressed' shall have to either remain oppressed or give up their historic wrath. Until then only fear can hold them. And fear of the law today is worth jack shit.

I know this brand of trouble well, we've been dealing with it for some years now; most caste-based Dalit/Maoist movements in India are not only a direct parallel to black-white politics of the west, they even share some of the architects and themes.

That's because they were invented by the same people.

#8 Interesting observations and perspective at #6. Many here have accepted the premise that we in the "privileged" non-entitlement village... are the problem.

Key takeaway phrase - "caste-based Dalit/Maoist movements"

I enjoy reading your refreshing insights.

#9 There are many parallels to the current realpolitik playing out in both countries. The players, if not the same seem to be inspired by a uniting global liberal ideology of building a utopia for unaccountably and corruption.

In Trump, we see an everyman American come to salvage his country from the brink, and bring back the bogeyman of Uncle Sam to the world. The same charisma is associated with our PM, back in the subcontinent. I'm looking forward to seeing how the MSM reports on the Texas event where Modi meets Trump, plus a handful of democrats who like to claim 'diverse India' as the go-to place to learn how to live together. They'll sport Indian ethnic wear and stuff and conspire to make us agree to their globalist consensus.

I have a list of Indian-origin marxist sympathizers and MSM mercenaries like Fareed Zakaria who like to create a narrative of volatility in this relationship, and the closeness of the Indian leadership more to Dems. They hate the Modi too, but keep to their Trump-bashing while gushing praise for the Indian PM, giving the impression in the west that everyone educated enough to read a paper here is also a fucking liberal.

#10 Re. Booker, Harris and Smollett: this could be very big. It's an example, one among many, of idiot entertainers seeking to influence major political outcomes with their idiocy, and idiot politicians egging them on.

I have to think that most Americans, whatever their race, will turn against both of these corrupt and foolish elite groups.

#11 Unfortunately most Americans are apathetic and don't really care enough to do anything about it. Not that there is much they can do.

Our entire political class is deeply compromised, bought or both. Nothing short of glassing D.C. and moving the seat of the government to the interior is going to solve the problem.

#13 I seem to recall reading that most revolutions come not from the poor, or the rich, but a rising-but-frustrated middle group. The difference between what they expect and what they have makes fuels the sense of injustice.
I suspect the principle is easily extended to various ethnicities within a single land.

#14 The more African Americans that make it back into the middle class the better for everyone. Trump's economy seems to be doing some of that sort of thing. Hopefully he can reduce the flow of blacks from middle class so to poverty that Obama oversaw.
