#6 The tail and engines a free of damage associated with a shoulder fired heat speaking missile. Also the APU inlet inboard of the right engine is open indicating it was at least started. My best guess is an inflight electrical fire

#7 Ref #6: My take as well. The aircraft would have undoubtedly had an onboard infrared countermeasure (IRCM) system, which would have honked off a basic load of flares.
