  • Washington's Birthday (Presidents Day)
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day (4th of July)
  • Labor Day
  • Columbus Day
  • Veterans Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day
  • Voting or Election Day (for Virginia)

    13 days vacation (new employee minimum)
    13 days per year (use or lose) sick leave (can be used for family member care)
    84 days Parental Leave for birth or adoption

    Not discussed:
  • Leave Without Pay (LWOP)
  • Fellow employee sick leave donations.
  • Flex time.
  • Work from home time.
