#4 They are supposedly going to get compensatory time off instead of overtime pay.

This is unusual but not unprecedented. It happens a lot in the military manufacturing biz. Some people like this since time off is not taxed but overtime is.

Comp time is taxed as you receive your pay for the time off, just like vacation
