#5 I, like many, have suggested stronger, even a lethal response to the most dangerous Rioters-Looters applied was needed.

In passing discussions at a Local Gun Show over the weekend. A key point became clear the police & fed's are showing warranted restraint.

The question always moved to WHY?

The general consensus was that likely the Riot Organizers actually want to have a deadly riot/protest for Media & Political reasons just before the election.

Now stop and think of all the ways a few mixed in with Protesting Sheep have employed so far:
Sling shots, Homemade M-80's, Binary Chemical bombs, strings of 4 to 5 firecrackers, fire bombs, Glass bottles, rocks, sniper shootings, Paint balls, lasers, Scooters, Inert but Re-worked training grenades, Swarming Police or NG positions and more.

Looking back on this. I have admit it seems the Riot Leadership likely wants a Deadly confrontation and are pushing Fed's, Police, Citizens and NG's for a Headline grabbing:

#6 Totally agree with you, NN2N1. To the point that I figure if they can't get a 'legitimate' retaliatory 'atrocity' in the next few weeks, they'll have a few of their operatives don police or NG uniforms and do the killing themselves.

That's sure what it looked like to me last week, MM. Of course we may be looking at the 'uncontrollable' elements, similar to deadly man-made viruses that escape from a lab somewhere.
