#1 Rumi of Konya, d. 1273, was noted for poems like this one: "I directed my search to the Kaaba, the resort of old and young; God was not there even." Somehow his fellow Turks did not have him executed.

#4 Whereas I, d. already, am noted for poems like this one...

In the land of unlimited lube,
There is not an impeccable cube
In a very glad rag,
Wherein, clad in a bag,
A trans whatsit sits, licking its boob.

#5 Seriously, Bubba, that's awesome. An homage...

I searched from the Rock to the -----,
The resort of the babe and of Abba,
But I still was alone...
'Cept for Joey Ramone
Babbling, "Hey, Yippie's gay! Gabba gabba!"

#7 "openly denigrating the religious values adopted by a section of the public"

Watched a Turkish miniseries a while ago -- not bad, but there was a section where they opened a (mythical) chamber beneath the Hagia Sophia and found a cup that was a clone of the Grail from Indiana Jones. "A relic of a primitive age when people consumed blood during their worship ceremonies," said one of the characters.

I suspect no one involved in producing that show has ever had a legal problem over it.
