The double-blind, placebo-controlled study included 100 people with mild to moderate cases of the disease who were not hospitalized for the virus. California’s total number of COVID-19 cases as a percentage of the population is about 8.8%, while Florida’s is about 8.3%. Out of all of the people in California who have gotten COVID-19, about 1.35% have died, while in Florida, it’s about 1.57%, according to Johns Hopkins University.

#5 Actually, California's COVID policy has been a miserable failure compared to Florida's. COVID is many times deadlier to the elderly, who make up 21% of Florida's population vs only 14% of California's population
