#2 Government regulation has made most banks a directed extension of the Deep State. Notice how few banks go broke any longer? Why is that? They just change names and continue to march. Banks get all the money they need from the Fed, mortgage closing costs, credit card receipts, and through selling those mortgages. As a consequence, they don't need your money or deposits. If we were smart, we wouldn't need theirs. I'm as guilty as the next guy, I still use them. One day I will switch to Mason jars.

#6 Don't use banks. Only recently I needed to set up an account to deposit a customer's out of town checks so I opened an account at a local Credit Union that a bunch of Baptists started for their churches and church members.

#8 Credit unions are the best answer. They belong to the members and must be non profit run for the benefit of the members. Bankers are not your friends when it comes to money.

Audit the Fed just like they audit the credit unions.
