#3 Caught my eye as I remembered a similar situation on an abandoned airfield in Ga many years ago. High Speed - Low Drag operators failed to properly coordinate with local law enforcement and were mistaken for drug runners.....or so I was told. Imagine the very early morning confusion.

#6 This is beyond stupid. If they were so concerned about secrecy - ask their training LNO for the medical protocols. A real world injury on a jump or follow on training mission usually results in End-Ex. Shame on the German Defense Attache for not telling the Ambassador.
No way these guys made it here without somebody at the embassy knowing.

Briefly worked with this unit in Kabul on a KnR job. They certainly looked like German SF - with an emphasis on 1944 Germany.
