#1 Renewables will cost a bit more but it must be done. Hike the property and sales taxes a bit to cover the additional costs. If that isn't sufficient, the county roads can become tolls, and the existing tolls can be hiked. If that still won't carry it, those that lies in cemeteries paying nothing can be levied an annual fee. They pay nothing now. Then there is pets and farm animals....such as still exist.

Use your heads people! As long as you have people to tax, you'll still survive.

The Byron facility generated about 2,500MW and the Dresden unit about 1,800MW.

Wind Farms or Solar aren't going to cover that grid loss.
