SUE the Council members, ANTI-FA and BLM also.
At the least find out the real legal sources and shell companies that are donating to these Rioting, Looting trash. Start and sue them also.

But suing and bankrupting Portland will only mean a Taxpayer Bailout.

#2 Well, there have been rulings that the police have no legal obligation to protect an individual, so I'm assuming the same judicial fiat will be applied to all forms and instruments of government.

#3 yes unfortunately this is doomed to failure. the precedent has been set that it is not the purview of law enforcement to actually protect the citizens.

however, the government is always very free with taxpayer money, and may just pay off the estate.

if a taxpayer makes a mistake, the taxpayer pays. if the government makes a mistake, the taxpayer pays. great gig if you can get it.
