That! The 'peril' part is they won't be able to blame it on the Republicans who, as we all know, want to put POOKs (People Of Obvious Kolor) back in chains.

I still think they should do it, though. To be clear, it is an incredibly stupid idea and the citizens of ~~Mogadishu~~ Minneapolis will suffer. But having a concrete example of the consequences would be invaluable for the next time it comes up.
