#7 So he essentially has the option of staying in the USMC at the 05 level to make his 20. Waiting him upon retirement is the 2+million referenced above. The cost, 5000 and a letter of reprimand that stalls him forever at 05. Wow, not a bad outcome and his peers will not be hard on him in whatever BS assignment they give him to hide him away since he said mostly what they thought.
