Looking at it from the real world prospective.

People (living US citizens) voted for a President that BELIEVED IN FOLLOWING THE US CONSTITUTION.
A President who then appointed Judges that did the same.

But now look at what Obama, and Clinton appointed. It is clear they wanted judges that ruled and create law to match their political/social needs, instead of following the US Constitution.

#8 Which is the evidence that the court has become a end around to Article V amending process. Even though it has been amended 27 times, they know they don't have the means to force through their design of governance that is in fact in conflict with the existing text of the Constitution.
