#2 I don't need farm equipment on my sub acre spread here. What I do know is my next car may be a bare bones 67 Chevy pickup truck because I am damn tired of all the over-engineered electronics I'm having trouble keeping together in my 2008 Jeep Liberty.

#3 Trying to get OEM parts right now is a pain, too.

And the dorman/etc chineseium 'aftermarket' out-of-the-box failure rates are getting worse.

Using harborfreighneium alloy tools doesn't help, either.

#4 I have had good luck with LKQ for used parts. Got a door for my Jeep for $85 and a used ABS modulator that cannot be ordered new anymore for $80. If the part isn't in one of their yards near you, they sell online too.

#5 I'm all for right to repair, but I'd like to state that my dad never did get the left-wheel brake working on our International Harvester.

And the only reason the bush hog worked is because I crawled underneath it and cut away the hose he ran over.
