#1 "Restoring trust"....? Well intended, but possibly a bit late. A "total ban" on democrats (and many republicans) would be more effective. Simply vote them out.

Term limits are desperately needed. Sick, power hungry octogenarians are the last thing we need.

#2 Rather than "term limits".. a "one and done" amendment is needed, otherwise, the professional politicians will just take a term off and then come back and pick up where they left off.

#11 I agree that term limits would help - the Founders did not envision professional politicians. Congress was not supposed to be a lifetime job.
A solution to the stock problem could be that all members are required to put their stock assets into a blind trust, managed by some investment firm.
