#6 Another Global Times piece on Tuesday pushed the Ohio derailment as evidence that American government has become fundamentally corrupt and utterly incompetent, ~~unlike the supremely capable and totally honest~~ just like the authoritarian regime in Beijing~~, which has all sorts of hyper-efficient regulations~~.

That took some fixing but I think it's better now.

#8 I got bawled out by the chair of the Comp Sci department at St. Vincent college for tossing program printouts in the terminal room. The frosh were stealing them from the trash and "making mistakes they were not educated enough to make on their own." Backhand praise, I guess.

I started throwing my printouts away off campus. To make the dept chair happy.
