FIREARMS
There is an estimated 434 million firearms in civilian possession. The AR-15 and similar semi-automatics account for about estimated 19.8 million, in common use.

Official government sources indicates from 2012 to 2022, (10 years) includes, Epidemics, a Pandemic, 100's of the Riots and Looting's, only shows there were about 43,200 gun deaths a year in the US with a population of 342,000,000+ people. Or on average 1 on 10,046 chance of death by firearm. Note: this figure also includes justified, police, & self-defense shootings.

VEHICLES
Official government sources estimate 42,915 people died in motor vehicle traffic accidents in 2021 and US has about 282,366,285 registered vehicles as Dec. 31, 2021. Or, on average 1 in 6,579 chance of death by vehicle. Note: this figure also includes mass transit accidental deaths.

So, in the USA you are 3,467 times more likely to be killed by a vehicle than a firearm.

If a person using the same Official government sources, were to break down the Shooter/Murder vs Victim demographics, and publish it, the data would be called Bias Racist

But hypothetically. even if certain demographic groups were banned from having firearms. We still be back at the same real life fatal logic .

Violent Criminals don't obey gun laws, only honest ~~citizens~~ Victims do.

75% of the deaths are black, 25% non-white.
54% of the deaths are suicide, 43% murder, 3% other.
Gun deaths/murder have increased 23% since 2019, the onset of the pandemic.

The FBI seems to be a little slow in releasing National Crime Database details since 2020.
