#1 Hizb ut-Tahir (Islamic Liberation Party) founded Palestine 1953 by the scholar, politician and Qadi in Court of Appeals, Jerusalem, Shaykh Taqiuddine an-Nabhani. Began to emerge following the end of the Soviet Union. He fought against Christianity, colonialism, and Arab and Muslim rulers who acted secularly and did not practice strict Islam and belief in dawaa to accomplish the Muslim unification in the Khilafah State.
Well organized in the UK, its propaganda arm noted "The oppressive rulers in Uzbekistan, Iraq, Syria, Libya and others have killed dozens of its members. Nine HUT members shot by firing squad 27 Feb 2003, and lesser sentences in trial of 82 men. In 2000, Tajikistan dozens on trial in 2000 and "charged with illicit activities, including organizations advocating racial, ethnic, and religious bigotry and plotting to overthrow the secular government."
