#1 ...This is not a serious as it sounds, because even if Ohio was the reddest of Red States, they're not going to risk the absolute horror show that would result were they to dig in their heels on the issue.

On the other hand, I'd love to see the state indulge in a little blackmail- I mean, discussion of goodies to help smooth the path.
