#1 Victory will be due to close air-ground operations. Karzai has been attacking the air war for civilian - and even Taliban casualties - when it is air cover that allows hit troops to re-group securely, and retaliate over salients that are not visible from all ground points. Somebody slap Karzai.

Civilian casualties do not make a just war unjust.
