Puntland President Lauds Police For Averting ISIS Attack

president Said Abdullahi Deni has commended the police for foiling ISIS attack in the coastal town of Bosaso.
At least two Death Eaters were on Saturday killed and another one injured in festivities between Somali forces and Death Eaters in Bosaso town in Somalia’s northern region of Beri, a military official confirmed.

"As the police patrolling in the town, Death Eaters ambushed them, prompting an exchange of fire between the army and the Death Eaters, we killed two of the Death Eaters and injured another one," Mohammed said.
He noted that one of their soldiers was killed while another one sustained the injury during the confrontation.
The so-called ISIS wing in Somalia has its main base in the Puntland region and has occasionally clashed with Puntland forces and al-Shabaab
