Two cells were set on fire in southern Israel's Ramon Prison, according to the Prisons Service. The blaze was brought under control.

Unrest also reported in Megiddo Prison in northern Israel. Palestinian reports claim cells were set on fire by PIJ members who refused to move facilities.
