US Seeks Life Sentence For Canadian ISIS Propagandist

They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
Organization (ISIS) member Mohammed Khalifa is facing a life imprisonment sought by US prosecutors over charges of promoting the organization’s propaganda and engaging in gory actions in Syria.

In materials filled in a court, the prosecutors said that Khalifa "most prolific propagandists" in ISIS was a "formidable figure within ISIS."

He is accused of producing gory videos used by the ISIS to "incite attacks and recruit", and also of executing two Syrian soldiers.

In 2013, Khalifa moved to join ISIS in Syria, where he "underwent training and used his English-language skills to narrate ISIS execution videos," according Global News.

Khalifa’s proficiency with the English language, intelligence and communication skills made him a valuable asset to ISIS.

In early 2019, he engaged in fighting.

On Jan. 13, 2019, he was captured when his AK-47 broke down while he was trying to target Kurdish fighters backed by the US.

The US detained him and transferred him to Washington D.C.

Scores of Canadian nationals of ISIS suspects are held in camps in northeast Syria, but the Canadian government does not agree to repatriate them, saying that it has no obligation to assist them or bring them home.

#1 Why does the US have to be involved in this case? If he was captured while fighting Kurds, why not leave him to the tender mercies of his captors? Why does our government have to be involved?

#4 The Kurds have neither the manpower nor the funds to run the kind of prison system these people require for the long term. Most of them came from far away, so the Kurds feel justified in demanding that their home countries share the cost and effort.

The Canadian government means that idiot, Justin Trudeau. Apparently we are doing the Kurds this small favour because Canada refuses to step up to its responsibilities.

I thought Aca Joe was Mexican, not American. He’s made it clear he lives here as part of the Mexican Reconquista. Did he also steal an American citizenship?

#5 Based on language skills and the level of antisemitism, I get the impression there are multiple Aca Joes running the same 'nym. Not all of them seem equally familiar with the backstory as originally presented.
