Alissa Azar hasn't been back to her homeland of Syria since 2011.

She says her family tells her things were just turning around in the country and then the airstrikes hit Friday night.

"I don’t know what’s going to happen," said Azar. "I fear my country is going to be destroyed."

She was able to get a hold of her cousin Friday night, who said he could hear bombs going off nearby. He told her everyone is frightened.
