CNN pundit floats Harris as possible replacement for SCOTUS Justice Sotomayor
A brilliant idea. Put in place a young (she’s only 60), far-left justice who is woefully incompetent by any metric — as well as unceasingly annoying — to replace a slightly less far left, slightly less incompetent elderly justice, and thus not only maintain the current conservative-to-Progressive ratio but keep future Democratic presidents from adding someone to the bench actually able to persuasively argue Progressive positions.
[NYPOST] A liberal pundit Sunday floated nominating failed presidential candidate Kamala Harris
Former Oakland mayor Willie Brown's' former mistress
to replace US Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor while the Democrats
...every time you hear the phrase white people, white supremacy, white anything but paint, you're listening to a Democrat. Ask him/her/it to reimagine something for you; they do that a lot, though not well. They can hear a dog whistle a mile or two away. They invented the spoils system and Tammany Hall, and inspired the addition of the word (Thomas) Nasty to the English language. They want to stop continental drift and repeal the law of unintended side effects...
still cling to power.

Bakari Sellers, a CNN
...formerly the Cable News Network, now who know what it might stand for...
commentator and former state politician in South Carolina, was adamant on social media that progressives need to ramp up pressure on Sotomayor, a 70-year-old type 1 diabetic, to step aside even as she resists the effort.

"Sotomayor needs to resign. The court is currently 6-3. [Her resignation] would limit Trumps ability to make it 7-2. It’s silly to believe there is no difference," Sellers wrote on X.

#1 Sotomayor can at least speak in semi-coherent sentences.

#3 When Joe Rogan can outdraw CNN, they'd best get back to paying attention to their survival.

#6 First, she has to resign, which she said she would not. Second, Harris would have to pass the Senate testimony, which would be public, brutal, and an embarrassment to the Dems. Even the dumbest Dem in office would not consider this level of stupidity.

#10 Dems would have to blow up the filibuster to get her in. That would be the most moronically timed political stupidity of all time.

#11 #8. That was/is a national tragedy. I hope some day history doesn't just gloss over that and instead has the courage to tell the truth about that episode ("the powers that be gave up on any illusion that they were striving for excellence and instead were all about rubbing the peoples' noses in right-think").

#12 And just when you think you already had trouble understanding SCOTUS decisions, here's a chance to turn them into pure gibberish.

#13 She'd never do it. She would have to be on the record every time she made a decision and there's no way to cover that up.

#14 We've got to stop awarding a prize to everyone who participates. That's how we got (along with an unhealthy amount of cheating and rigging) the most recent POTUS, who was totally incompetent.
