The CCS decided upon the following measures:
(1) The Indus Waters Treaty of 1960 will be held in abeyance with immediate effect until Pakistan credibly and irrevocably abjures its support to cross border terrorism.
(2)The Attari Integrated Check Post (ICP) will be closed with immediate effect. Those who have crossed over with valid endorsements may return through that route before May 1, 2025.
(3) Pakistani nationals will not be permitted to travel to India under the SAARC Visa Exemption Scheme visas. Any SVES visas issued in the past to Pakistani nationals are deemed cancelled. Any Pakistani nationals, currently in India under SVES visa, have 48 hours to leave India..."

The world has come in support of India and mourned over death of 28 innocents killed in a terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam, but Canada has not yet officially condemned or issued any statement on the gory attack.

Security agencies released photographs of the suspected terrorists involved in the brutal attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam, which claimed 28 lives. The names of the terrorists are Aadil Guree, Aasif Shaikh , Suleman Shah and Abu Talha. The terrorists used code names - Moosa, Yunus and Asif.
Photo of the four miscreants at that time at the link, all in dark, Western civilian, long-sleeved shirts and slacks or cargo pants, harnesses with pockets filled with magazines (?), and their trigger fingers carefully laid along the side of whatever their guns (rifles? but three don’t seem to have shoulder stocks, so I’m confused) instead of on the trigger. The training we’ve been doing in Iraq and Afghanistan has had at least that one beneficial aspect — fewer are being killed accidentally because the bad guys know that serious military are careful about that.

Saifullah Khalid, LeT Terrorist And TRF Commander, Identified As Mastermind Of Pahalgam Terror Attack

[OneIndia] The Jammu and Kashmir Police are receiving support from the National Investigation Agency (NIA) to probe the recent terror attack in Pahalgam. The Resistance Front (TRF), a proxy for the Pakistan-based group Lashkar-e-Taiba, has claimed responsibility for this attack. This incident has raised significant concerns about cross-border terrorism.
Army sources have identified Saifullah Khalid, a top commander of Lashkar-e-Taiba, as the mastermind behind the Pahalgam attack. Known also as Saifullah Kasuri, he is believed to have been planning this assault for two months. During this period, he reportedly visited Pakistani Army camps twice to coordinate the attack.
Saifullah is closely associated with Hafiz Saeed, the chief of Lashkar-e-Taiba, and serves as his deputy. The infiltration attempt was thwarted along the Line of Control (LoC) when security forces intercepted the terrorists attempting to infiltrate through the general area of Sarjeevan at Uri Nala in Baramulla, located in north Kashmir.
During the intense firefight, the terrorists were eliminated, and the security forces recovered significant war-like stores, including two AK rifles, one pistol, and an Improvised Explosive Device (IED). The operation is still ongoing as the Indian Army continues to secure the region and assess the situation.

According to reports, police reacted to a tip about unusual movements prompted a strict cordon around the location. As searches were conducted, security forces faced heavy gunfire, leading to an ongoing exchange of fire.
The area has been sealed off by security forces to contain the situation. Additional reinforcements have been dispatched to the scene to support ongoing operations.
