#3 The Elbit Systems Hermes 900 Kochav ("Star") is an Israeli medium-size, multi-payload, medium-altitude long-endurance unmanned aerial vehicle designed for tactical missions. It is a successor to Hermes 450 series of drones... It has endurance over 30 hours and can fly at a maximum altitude of 30,000 feet, with a primary mission of recon, surveillance and communications relay. The Hermes 900 has a wingspan (49 ft) and weighs (2,140 lb), with a payload capability of (660 lb). Payload options include electro-optical/infrared sensors, synthetic-aperture radar/ground-moving target indication, communications and electronic intelligence, electronic warfare, and hyperspectral sensors.

#4 While not cheap, the drones are much cheaper than front line combat aircraft.

This is known as being "attrittable," as in some losses are expected in a hot conflict.

#8 No POWs if a drone gets shot down. Also you really don't need those "steely eyed 9G athletic types" to pilot drones and they can trade seats while one goes to the restroom or cafeteria...
