Putin is crazy. Bibi is crazy. No doubt we shall soon hear that Narendra Modi crazy. All the opponents of Obamacare & Amnesty are crazy. Do I detect a pattern?

Putin is to Obama as Reagan was to Gorbachev. Here's hoping America's Yanayev appears and has more success at restoring the former system than did the original.
"Newspeak is a corrosive force, as Orwell made clear, because it contributes to the slow erosion of verities, such as the fundamental elements of the American Creed."

Commenter TomB nails it. Underscore in para 4, my work:

Well, you'll first note that I referenced not just Mr. Obama's actions but his *kind* of economics, meaning Democratic ones.
So anyway just to address a biggie of Mr. Obama's has been as I cited in Mr. Merry's recent column here "The Decline Of The Democratic Party Has Arrived" where he noted that as regards Obamacare alone "It reduces spending, for example, on Medicare—which serves a population that is 77 percent white—by $500 billion over ten years. And it transfers much of that money to Medicaid, whose recipients are 59 percent minority."
Or of course one could just point to the clear willingness of Mr. Obama and his party to pay all the zillions in social welfare and educational costs of all the illegals it is so enamored with and wants to further entitle.
Moreover, what has the Democratic Party been doing over the last 60+ decades other than not just admitting but positively *boasting* over its redistributionist beliefs and accomplishments?
So what are you suggesting? That suddenly all that obvious history and all those proud boasts go down the memory hole, and anyone noting same is a scoundrel?

When Mohammedans unleash hell in Europe, the white population in America will increase with an influx of European refugees. That is the Latinos and African Americans in charge of America by then will let them in.

In 1789, John Jay identified six central elements of what Americans had in common—ancestry, language, religion, principles of government, manners and customs and war experience.
The left asks us to give these up and assiduously attacks these. Part of this involves dissolving our border and allowing unrestricted and unassimilated immigration. As the author says: "...a nation that can’t control its borders is a nation whose very definition is under assault." I sense a rising anger and increasing resistance in the land to the insanity the left is foisting upon us.
An earlier version of this column was published in error. That version included what purported to be an interview that Kanye West gave to a Chicago radio station in which he compared his own derrière to that of his wife, Kim Kardashian. Mr. West’s quotes were taken, without attribution, from the satirical website The Daily Currant. There is no radio station WGYN in Chicago; the interview was fictitious, and should not have been included in the column.

Layers of editors and fact checkers - that's what makes newspapers a better source of information than blogs or the hobos camping under the overpass. According to newspapers, anyway.

I've avoided them for the past fifteen years, due to a long list of awful first-person experiences with the company, unless it was absolutely essential due to location and schedule.
Now the 'essential' element might become mitigated by taking a bus or something.

Chase had a "feelings based" commercial up that very night, so they were in on the game too...however it is kind of hard to dislike them much more than I already do.
"In Fort Collins, Colorado, Rocky Mountain High School Principle Tom Lopez has the students reciting “In Allah we Trust” in the name of diversity. Just a hundred miles south in the suburbs of Colorado Springs, the Principal of Pine Creek High School has banned groups discussing Christianity during free time to protect “the separation of church and state.” Confused yet?
...
On the other hand, Fort Colorado Principal Tom Lopez insists that reciting the Pledge of Allegiance in Arabic, as well as other languages (Norwegian?)
is a totally appropriate student-based decision coming from their “Culture Club” which 'doesn’t fall under the umbrella of the district."

Culture Club is running schools in Colorado. Could have been worse. It could have been Wham.

These folks think they are being diverse and open minded. Like lemmings following a pied piper they have no idea what they are doing and the damage they cause in the name of diversity. But make no doubt about it, they are undermining the very fabric that holds this nation together.

Every time Colorado makes national news it's something humiliating.
I think they do. I think they are consciously engaged in a classic communist technique, deceit, with the aim of eliminating US national sovereignty in favor of what they think is their class's global hegemony. They (principals, unionists, student protesters, etc,) are useful idiots for the industrial/financial families and trust-funders who grow stronger as the deceit they foster spreads ever wider. Useful idiots end up run over by the masters they serve. The key words globalists hate are "independence" and "sovereignty." So those are the words to use against them, to expose their utopian deceits and actual power-junkie obsessions.

C.S. Lewis describes the strategy in The Abolition of Man. The strategy has been ongoing since the French Revolution. The flavor changes like a Neopolition scoop of ice cream. The techniques always look the same: children being indoctrinated with falsehood in the guise of truth.

As Instapundit says, sending your children to public schools is parental malpractice.

A multi-volume chronology and reference guide set detailing three years of the Mexican Drug War between 2010 and 2012.
Rantburg.com and borderlandbeat.com correspondent and author Chris Covert presents his first non-fiction work detailing
the drug and gang related violence in Mexico.
Chris gives us Mexican press dispatches of drug and gang war violence
over three years, presented in a multi volume set intended to chronicle the death, violence and mayhem which has
dominated Mexico for six years.
Rantburg was assembled from recycled algorithms in the United States of America. No
trees were destroyed in the production of this weblog. We did hurt some, though. Sorry.
