8 million Spaniards take to the streets
hat tip to instapundit and drudgeChanting "Cowards" and "Killers," millions of protestors packed rainswept streets across Spain Friday condemning the countryâs worst ever guerrilla attack which killed at least 199 people. Spanish royals and Prime Minister Jose Maria Aznar headed the march in Madrid alongside Italian leader Silvio Berlusconi and EU President Romano Prodi demonstrating unity a day after what was also Europeâs bloodiest bomb attack in 15 years. Rude-errs only put attendance at 2 million - Drudge at 8 million - anyway you slice it - this is the big news of the day, despite the fact that big media is ignoring it.
