| #3 Hey, suppose we replace all the air traffic controllers with AI chatbots? Forward into the Future! Obviously safety is a concern, but the chatbots do not need to be perfect. They just need to kill fewer people than humans do. Besides as the system runs, it will accumulate training data from 'incidents'. We will still need one human ATC to boot up the system, of course. Sure, you could have the janitor press the ON button, but you want a trained ATC professional for a job like that. |
