Israel Strikes Hamas 'Command and Control Center' in U.N. Building
[Breitbart] The government of Israel confirmed on Sunday that it had discovered a terrorist “Hamas command and control center” in a complex run by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), the U.N.’s agency for Palestinian issues.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Israel Security Agency (ISA), or Shin Bet, issued a joint statement confirming an airstrike Subday on the facility, which they said intelligence confirmed was being used as “a staging ground for multiple attacks on IDF troops located in Gaza’s central corridor in recent weeks.”

The strike reportedly occurred shortly before Israeli officials confirmed that the country had begun dropping flyers to civilians in Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip, urging them to evacuate before a military operation against Hamas.

In January, UNRWA acknowledged intelligence that found at least 12 of its employees directly participated in the atrocities, which resulted in the killing of approximately 1,200 people and abduction of an estimated 250 others. Leaked communications in an online group featuring thousands of UNRWA employees found that many celebrated the slaughter and openly prayed for the terrorists engaging in it.

Despite this, UNRWA insisted that its only objective in Gaza is to aid civilians, not Hamas, and that its operations are pivotal for the survival of the people of Gaza.

The IDF and Shin Bet accused UNRWA in a statement on Sunday of allowing Hamas to use a complex allegedly intended for humanitarian efforts to stage terror attacks against Israeli troops.

“Following precise IDF and ISA intelligence, IAF fighter jets struck a Hamas command and control center in the central Gaza Strip which served as central terrorist infrastructure,” the statement said. “The strike was carefully planned and carried out using precise munition in order to minimize harm to uninvolved civilians.”

“The command and control center was used as a staging ground for multiple attacks on IDF troops located in Gaza’s central corridor in recent weeks,” the agencies said. “Furthermore, the forward operations base was used to carry out attacks on humanitarian efforts, which aims to increase the distribution of humanitarian aid to Gazan civilians.”

The IDF and Shin Bet added that Hamas used the location to distribute weapons to terrorists.

“The Hamas terrorist organization systematically exploits the civilian population and institutions as human shields for their terrorist activities against the State of Israel,” the agencies affirmed.

UNRWA has long operated as the closest thing to a functional government in Gaza, in charge of the education of children, the little health care available for residents, and some distribution of food and other aid.
…thus freeing up Hamas to concentrate on the fun of violent jihad against Israel rather than the drudgery of governance. Yay.
UNRWA’s education efforts have been particularly disastrous, as years of evidence has revealed UNRWA teachers using antisemitic, genocidal Islamist propaganda to indoctrinate Gazan children.

UNRWA funds these activities with money from governments. The top donor prior to the discovery that UNRWA officials participated in the October 7 attacks, which resulted in a suspension of funding, was the United States. According to the State Department, the administration of President Joe Biden donated nearly $700 million to UNRWA between 2021 and 2023.

“We’ve provided over $890 million for Palestinians, including over $680 in humanitarian assistance for refugees in the region through UNRWA … When Secretary Blinken was in Ramallah, he announced another $50 million in funding for UNRWA,” State Department spokesman Ned Price said in February 2023.

Biden administration puts hold on US ammunition shipment to Israel: report
[NYPOST] The Biden administration last week halted a shipment of US-made ammo that was slated to go to Israel — a decision that reportedly sent members of the Israeli government into a tizzy as they tried to figure out why the delivery has been withheld.

Why?
Could it be they are just trying to buy Muslim Vote and donations?

OR

Could it be the O'Biden Regime & LSD Swampers are worried about possible US Civil Unrest issues, or a MAGA celebration on Nov. 6th?

Or both?

Israeli forces kill four Hamas fighters
[GEO.TV] Israeli forces Saturday claimed they killed five Paleostinians, including four fighters of Hamas
...always the voice of sweet reason...
, in an overnight raid near the city of Tulkarm in the occupied West Bank.

Hamas confirmed that four of the men killed during the raid in Deir al-Ghusun village were from its al-Qassam armed wing. The Paleostinian health ministry said their bodies had been taken by the Israeli military.

There was no information about the fifth man, whose body was too disfigured for immediate identification, the Paleostinian health ministry in the West Bank said.

The Israeli military confirmed the deaths and said an Israeli officer from a special police unit was maimed in the operation it said targeted a Hamas cell responsible for numerous shooting and boom-mobileing attacks.

It said the group was responsible for killing a reservist soldier and wounding a police officer in an attack last November and also carried out a boom-mobileing attack in April which maimed two Israelis including a soldier.

Hamas says latest cease-fire talks have ended. Israel vows military operation in 'very near future'
[10News] Nike: "Just Do It"
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called the key Hamas demands “extreme” — including the withdrawal of Israel forces from Gaza and an end to the war.

The latest round of Gaza cease-fire talks ended in Cairo after “in-depth and serious discussions,” the Hamas militant group said Sunday, reiterating key demands that Israel again rejected. After signs of progress, the outlook appeared to dim.

Israel closed its main crossing point for delivering badly needed humanitarian aid for Gaza after Hamas attacked it. The defense minister claimed Hamas wasn't serious about a deal and warned of “a powerful operation in the very near future in Rafah and other places across all of Gaza."

Israel didn't send a delegation to the talks mediated by Egypt and Qatar, and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said that “we see signs that Hamas does not intend to go to any agreement." Egyptian state media reported that the Hamas delegation went for discussions in Qatar, where the group has a political office, and will return to Cairo for further negotiations on Tuesday.

Another threat to talks came as Israel ordered the local offices of Qatar’s Al Jazeera satellite news network to close, accusing it of broadcasting anti-Israel incitement. The ban did not appear to affect the channel’s operations in Gaza or the West Bank.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, under pressure from hard-liners in his government, continued to lower expectations for a cease-fire deal, calling the key Hamas demands “extreme” — including the withdrawal of Israel forces from Gaza and an end to the war. That would equal surrender after the Hamas attack on Oct. 7 that triggered the fighting, Netanyahu said.

Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in a statement earlier said the militant group was serious and positive about the negotiations and that stopping Israeli aggression in Gaza is the main priority.

But Israel's government again vowed to press on with a military operation in Rafah, the southernmost Gaza city on the border with Egypt where more than half of Gaza's 2.3 million residents now seek shelter from Israeli attacks. Rafah is a key entry point for aid.

Kerem Shalom, now closed, is another. The Israeli military reported 10 projectiles were launched at the crossing in southern Israel and said its fighter jets later struck the source. Hamas said it had been targeting Israeli soldiers in the area. Israel’s Channel 12 TV channel said 10 people were wounded, three seriously. It was unclear how long the crossing would be closed.

The head of the U.N. agency for Palestinian refugees, Philippe Lazzarini, called for an independent investigation and “accountability for the blatant disregard of humanitarian workers.” He also said Israel this week denied him entry to Gaza for a second time.

The closing of Kerem Shalom came shortly after the head of the U.N. World Food Program asserted “full-blown famine” in devastated northern Gaza, one of the most prominent warnings yet of the toll of restrictions on food and other aid entering the territory. The comments were not a formal famine declaration.

In expanded remarks as the full NBC interview was released Sunday, WFP chief Cindy McCain said famine was “moving its way south” in Gaza and that Israel's efforts to allow in more aid were not enough. “We need more ability to be able to get more trucks in,” she said. “We have right now a mass on the outside border, about enough trucks and enough food for 1.1 million people for about three months. We need to get that in."

Gaza's vast humanitarian needs put further pressure on the pursuit of a cease-fire. The proposal that Egyptian mediators had put to Hamas sets out a three-stage process that would bring an immediate, six-week cease-fire and partial release of Israeli hostages taken in the Oct. 7 attack, and would include some sort of Israeli pullout. The initial stage would last for 40 days. Hamas would start by releasing female civilian hostages in exchange for Palestinian prisoners held by Israel.

Netanyahu claimed that Israel has shown willingness to make concessions but said it "will continue fighting until all of its objectives are achieved.” That includes the stated aim of crushing Hamas. Israel says it must target Rafah to strike remaining fighters there despite warnings from the U.S. and others about the danger to civilians.

An Israeli strike Sunday on the al-Attar family house in an urban refugee camp near Rafah killed four children, including a baby, and two adults, according to Abu Youssef al-Najjar Hospital.

In later remarks for Israel’s annual Holocaust memorial day, Netanyahu added: "We will defend ourselves in every way. We will overcome our enemies and we will ensure our security — in the Gaza Strip, on the Lebanese border, everywhere.”

The Hamas cross-border attack on Oct. 7 killed some 1,200 people and took 250 others hostage. Israel says militants still hold around 100 hostages and the remains of more than 30 others. Netanyahu is under growing pressure from some hostages' families to make a deal to end the war and get hostages freed.

Israeli's air and ground offensive has killed over 34,500 people, according to Palestinian health officials, who don't differentiate between civilians and combatants but say women and children make up a majority of those killed.

Israel blames Hamas for civilian deaths, accusing it of embedding in residential and public areas. The Israeli military says it has killed 13,000 militants, without providing evidence to back up the claim.

Hamas 'needs guarantees from US' that Israeli forces will not invade Rafah

"Unfortunately, there was a clear statement from Netanyahu saying regardless of any ceasefire or not, he’ll continue the attack against Rafah — which means there will be no ceasefire.

"Our understanding to achieve a ceasefire means there will be no more attacks anywhere in Gaza, including Rafah," he said.

USMC - Half the drones Israel shoots down are their own
[Jpost] Since the IDF has one of the world's most advanced integrated air defense systems, if this is an issue for Israel’s military, it is likely to be an issue for other militaries worldwide.

The IDF is shooting down a significant number of its own drones in the course of operations, The War Zone (TWZ) reported Thursday, citing a US Marine Corps official.

According to Marine Lt.-Col. Michael Pruden, the IDF destroyed 40% of its own uncrewed aerial systems (UAS).

Pruden is head of the Marine Air Command and Control Integration Branch of the Air Combat Element Division within the service's Combat Development and Integration Command (CD&I).

"Something interesting that comes from Israel, 40 percent, 40 percent (this figure was repeated for emphasis), of the UASs ... knocked out" by Israel are instances of "friendly fire," Pruden said during a talk at the annual Modern Day Marine exposition on Wednesday.

He did not provide any additional details of this statistic, including a timeframe, according to TWZ. However, he did imply that this data comes from operations in the Gaza Strip in the current war against Hamas.

While discussing possible reasons for this number of friendly drones that are knocked down, Pruden said, "As Israel's engaging in Gaza, and they're on their front line, they see a small UAS; what are they going to do if it's not identified immediately? They're going to shoot it down."

Pruden said this is the default course of action because the time between when a drone might be detected and when it could execute an attack is usually measured in "seconds."

IDF HAS PREVIOUSLY ACKNOWLEDGED ACCIDENTAL KNOCKDOWNS OF ITS OWN DRONES
Pruden clarified that the IDF has also previously acknowledged accidental knockdowns of its drones. Since the IDF has one of the world's most advanced integrated air defense systems, if this is an issue for Israel’s military, it will likely be an issue for other militaries worldwide.

The US Marine official highlighted a related communication issue in the US military. "How am I putting a small UAS in the sky, thousands of these things, and not telling anybody about it, especially your ground-based air defense and counter-UAS [elements]?"

Pruden sees these mistaken interceptions as a problem that will only increase as the number of drones flying through the air increases in volume.

Israel’s current defense system includes Arrow 3, an exoatmospheric hypersonic anti-ballistic missile, and Arrow 2, an endoatmospheric anti-ballistic missile built by Israel Aerospace Industries. Below them are David's Sling and the Iron Dome, made by Rafael.

The laser air defense system, the Iron Beam, will join as another line of defense. In this system, Rafael plays a critical role as the developer of the launcher, while Elbit is the supplier of the laser itself. With the help of a laser beam with a power of about 100 kilowatts, the system is designed to intercept rockets and various drones. However, if the detection system does not improve, this system could also intercept friendly drones.

Israel bans Al Jazeera over Gaza war coverage
[NEWARAB] The cabinet of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has on Sunday unanimously decided to shut down news channel Al Jazeera’s operations within Israel, a government statement announced.

"The government under my leadership has unanimously decided: the incitement channel Al Jazeera will be shut down in Israel," Netanyahu’s statement read on X.

Netanyahu authorised Communications Minister Shlomo Karhi to immediately order the cessation of the channel's broadcasts in Israel, in both Arabic and English.

The ban will also force Al Jazeera to close its offices in Israel, with Karhi ordering the confiscation of equipment used by its personnel to broadcast, as reported by Haaretz.

Access to the network's website will now be blocked from within Israel.

The head of Al Jazeera in Israel and the Paleostinian territories described the Israeli government's decision to shutter the station's local operations as "dangerous" and motivated by politics rather than professional considerations.

Al Jazeera's legal team was preparing a response, Walid Omary told Rooters, in possible anticipation of a court appeal against the decision.

The move to ban Al Jazeera has been under consideration for some time, with Israel’s hostility toward the Qatar

Israel Closes Gaza Crossing After Hamas Attack, Vows Military Operation in Rafah
[Breitbart] But Biden's Regime just stopped an Ammo delivery
Watch how quickly that blocked shipment is unblocked now that people have noticed.
Israel closed its main crossing point for delivering badly needed humanitarian aid for Gaza on Sunday after Hamas militants attacked it, while the defense minister claimed Hamas wasn’t serious about a cease-fire deal and warned of "a powerful operation in the very near future in Rafah and other places across all of Gaza."

Both struck blows to ongoing cease-fire efforts in Cairo mediated by Egypt and Qatar after reported signs of progress. Israel hasn’t sent a delegation, unlike Hamas, and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said that "we see signs that Hamas does not intend to go to any agreement."

Bereaved father: "We are committed to our son's will"
[IsraelNationalNews] Rabbi Shlomo Yosef Weizen, father of Amichai who fell in battle in Kerem Shalom, addressed the IDF hesitating to enter Rafah and claimed that the waiting is wrong.

"We don’t have the strength to speak but we are incapable of remaining silent", he said in an interview to 'Kol Chai' radio. "We don’t understand or interfere in military decisions but we can’t forgive ourselves for the fact our son went out to protect the residents of Kerem Shalom while the residents of the kibbutz can’t return home."

According to him, a decisive campaign in Gaza means one thing - complete Israeli control over the entire Strip.

"From our side, a decisive victory will manifest as absolute military rule over all parts of the Strip. It is already difficult, to think that in some time they would suddenly decide to enter Rafah?"

"Now is the time and it is forbidden to hesitate and miss the opportunity. We are committed to our son’s will, that is our call. When David heard of King Saul's fall, he called ’to teach the sons of Judah the bow’, we must have the strength."
