and Harvard Attorney Alan Dershowitz debated on the topic of the coronavirus vaccine back in July.
During the debate, Kennedy Jr. claimed that Dr. Anthony Fauci invested $500 million in the vaccine (with taxpayer $$)
...that kind of thing is part of his job, actually, and fulfills a directive from President Trump. Hopefully he invested similar amounts in a number of companies working on other vaccine options, to increase the odds of getting one that actually works...
that is not safe by any means
...all medical research is a high risk investment. That’s half the reason it’s so expensive to turn a viable idea into a salable product — all the failures each success must subsidize. So low-profit items like vaccines generally don’t get attention unless there is a major grant upfront to cover the development costs...
and Fauci owns half the patent so he's due to make millions.
Probably not due anything at all, actually. Generally, patents registered while working for a company or the government are signed over to the company or the government paying one’s wages. Sometimes the worker will get a small bonus, though I never got anything more than an attagirl for the little thing I did for that sparkly kids’ toothpaste. Now if he bought stock in the company, that’s illegal insider trading for which you can go to jail.
If true, would explain a bit
It’s possible Mr. Kennedy, Jr., esq. is right about the investment without being right about vaccines.
[AP] TOKYO — A governor in Japan is drawing skeptical criticism after he touted a gargling product as effective against the coronavirus, an assertion that, despite its dubiousness, emptied some store shelves of the medicine.
Shares of Shionogi & Co. and Meiji Holdings Co., which make Isojin, soared in Tokyo Tuesday trading after Osaka Gov. Hirofumi Yoshimura made the comments.
Yoshimura referred to a study carried out by the Osaka regional government on a sample of just 41 people. Experts said such a study is inconclusive.
Shionogi and Meiji shares were already coming down Wednesday, as subsequent Japanese media reports debunked Yoshimura’s claim.
Daily confirmed cases of the coronavirus have been shooting up in Japan, to more than 1,000 people. The nation had previously scored success in containing the cases, compared to harder hit nations like the U.S., Mexico and Brazil. Japan has recorded 1,023 cumulative deaths linked to COVID-19, according to Johns Hopkins.
The high expectations on cures and vaccines underline the widespread worries in Japan, where there has been no lockdown but a series of warnings, asking people to wear masks, wash hands, social distance and gargle, even as businesses and restaurants stay open.

How Grandmother’s Gargling Remedy Could Help Abate The Coronavirus We also know about the cleaning power of bleach and are using it to sanitize surfaces amid the coronavirus. Have you ever wondered why this works? A certain chemical, hypochlorous acid (HOCL), in the bleach kills pathogens, including fungus, bacterium, and virus. Obviously, it is not safe to inhale or ingest bleach. However, we do have an easy and safe alternative.
Cells lining the nose and throat can produce HOCL when they are bathed with chloride. One of the easiest ways to accomplish this exposure is using sodium chloride, better known as salt or saline. The more chloride presented to the cells, the more HOCL they generate.

[Tech Guy Blog] I’ve been thinking about the China seed story and something stuck me.
China has plenty of problem, a food crisis, an infection crisis, concentration camps and the three gorges dam on the brink all of these things cause internal problems.
Even worse their purchase of pols, reporters, businessmen, colleges, athletic teams and players internationally has been unable to stop their decline in influence externally thanks to the covid/wuhan/ccp virus which they generously gave to the world.
Communist dictatorships usually teeter over time. China as a communist state has now been around 71 years which is about as long as the Soviet state lasted (1917-1991 74 years) and now not only are they facing internal threats they are now facing the the single biggest external threat China’s Communist government has ever seen.

Totalitarians. The details don’t matter, just the fact that totalitarian states are too brittle to survive black swan events, or even the accumulation of white swans — and there always is an accumulation of white swans followed by the unknown unknowns that are black swans.
“Communist state” is shorthand for the entirely of the above.
[Spectator] It puts Democrat-controlled states at greater risk of missing "safe harbor" deadline.
In other words, the Democratic campaign to convince the public that it is dangerous to vote in person primarily scares their own voters.
The Democrats are obviously committed to using the COVID-19 pandemic as the latest pretext for achieving their longtime goal of widespread voting by mail. They may, however, end up outsmarting themselves. The Democrats are so invested in their revisionist history concerning Bush v. Gore that they have forgotten why SCOTUS actually stopped the Florida recounts on December 12, 2000. That was the "safe harbor" date after which the state’s electors may not have been counted. Federal law requires that states must resolve post-election disputes (e.g. recounts) within 35 days after Election Day or risk disfranchising their voters. In 2000, that would have changed the outcome of the presidential election.
What does this have to do with mail-in voting? Acting on the assumption that Congress is unlikely to pass legislation requiring every state to send mail-in ballots to all registered voters, a number of Democrat-controlled states are moving to pass bills that will mandate vote-by-mail schemes within their own borders. Nevada just became the latest state to adopt such a plan. The obvious problem is that Election Day is only three months away and the logistical difficulties of expanding mail-in voting are legion. Five states, including Colorado, Oregon, and Washington, conduct elections exclusively by mail and still have serious problems after years of trying to get it right. Indeed, they have literally lost millions of ballots.

The DEM game plan appears to be:
1. Suggest Trump won't leave if he loses
2. Steal the election by inventing votes and adding them during the mail-in ballot confusion.
Actual election theft is the one case Trump won't actually leave.
3. Claim we told you so, he's lying about the cheating and just refuses to leave because he's a Cheeto-head bad man Hitler.
[Jpost] The economy is in a tailspin, COVID-19 has taken away remittances the country needs, and Beirut is effectively defaulting on bonds, the study notes.
Leb ...an Iranian colony situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozeen flavors of Christians. It is the home of Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers... is in the midst of a financial crisis which may not be possible to solve. It has racked up staggering debts and could need $93 billion to bail it out, according to a new report by the Foundation for Defense of Democracies. The economy is in a tailspin, COVID-19 has taken away remittances the country needs, and Beirut is effectively defaulting on bonds, the study notes.

Lebanon's main problem is its government, which is dominated by Hezbollah. Saving that government, which is the most any international rescue can accomplish, will only prolong the agony of its people.

[Federalist] Outsports, an LGBTQ sports and activism blog owned by Vox Media, published the names of over 300 women athletes who stood their ground by signing a letter addressed to the National College Athletic Association Board of Governors asking for the preservation of women’s sports "without permission."
In the letter, hundreds of women athletes urge the NCAA board not to participate in a boycott organized by the American Civil Liberties Union and transgender athlete Lindsay Hecox against Idaho for passing the Fairness in Women’s Sports Act, which necessitates participation by student athletes according to their sex. Wait! "transgender athlete Lindsay Hecox"?? What, "Vajayjay MahBalls" was taken?
"Fairness for female athletes should not be a political or partisan issue," the letter read. "We athletes have diverse views on many topics, but stand united on this fact: protecting the integrity of women’s sports is pro-woman, pro-fairness, and consistent with the purpose and promise of Title IX."
While many of the signatories were "afraid of the backlash that they might get on social media of being labeled a transphobe or a hater" if their names were released, Outpost published screenshots of all of the names claiming that it was "in the public interest, because those who stand in favor of discrimination ought to be held accountable."

The real laugh in all of this is watching these hate-filled radical feminists get a taste of their own medicine. The Frankenstein's monster they built to crush others has turned on them.
