Stunner: Russian navy withdraws from Crimean HQ
[HotAir] Ukraine may or may not have killed the Russian admiral in charge of their Crimean headquarters, as they first claimed, but their attack succeeded nonetheless. The Ukrainians "severely" damaged both the HQ and two ships undergoing repairs in a series of attacks on the key port of Sevastopol, endangering Russian navy operations in the Black Sea.

Now, satellite and intel data show that the Russians have retreated to lesser ports in Crimea and in Russia proper, putting them out of range of attacks on Ukrainian merchant-marine commerce:

Russia has withdrawn the bulk of its Black Sea Fleet from its main base in occupied Crimea, a potent acknowledgment of how Ukrainian missile and drone strikes are challenging Moscow’s hold on the peninsula.

Russia has moved powerful vessels including three attack submarines and two frigates from Sevastopol to other ports in Russia and Crimea that offer better protection, according to Western officials and satellite images verified by naval experts. The Russian Defense Ministry didn’t respond to a request for comment.

The move represents a remarkable setback for Russian President Vladimir Putin, whose military seizure of Crimea in 2014 marked the opening shots in his attempt to take control of Ukraine. His full-scale invasion of last year has now boomeranged, forcing the removal of ships from a port that was first claimed by Russia in 1783 under Catherine the Great.

A few weeks ago, the Ukrainians began an offensive on Russian positions in Crimea, mainly focused on the strategic naval base in Sevastopol. The cruise missile and drone attacks have continued, and have been remarkably surgical — even as the Russians admitted two weeks ago, when they lost both their HQ and their backup communications center in Sevastopol:

Friday’s attack is Kyiv’s third major success in 10 days. During that time, Ukraine destroyed a Russian submarine and a large landing ship by hitting a dry dock in Sevastopol, and blew up the Black Sea Fleet’s backup communications headquarters situated in a bunker on the outskirts of the city.

The Russian-appointed governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, said no civilian areas had been damaged by the attack. The Russian Ministry of Defense, which routinely minimizes or denies Russian losses, said a service member was missing after the attack on what it described as the "historic headquarters" of the fleet. The ministry said Russian air defenses intercepted five missiles.

This demonstrates the skill and intel-gathering of Ukrainian forces in the Crimea campaign. It also exposes just how difficult the Russian position is on the peninsula now, and how poor their screening defenses are for their naval assets. Given how small or basically non-existent Ukraine’s navy is, one would have expected the Russians to bolster these defenses before the invasion, especially since a naval blockade would have been an obvious choice to force Kyiv into an eventual surrender.

Now, it looks like the Black Sea fleet will be limited to missile and drone attacks on land-based targets:

The immediate military effects of the move are limited, as the ships will still be able to fire cruise missiles on civilian infrastructure such as ports and power grids, naval experts said. Ukraine’s strikes had already broken the fleet’s blockade of Ukrainian ports, denying Russian access to parts of the Black Sea and opening a new corridor for Ukraine to dispatch economically vital grain shipments. ...

Ukraine’s breaking of Russian military dominance in the Black Sea could also boost the Ukrainian economy. Ukraine opened up a new maritime corridor for civilian ships transiting to and from Odesa as an alternative to the Turkish- and U.N.-backed agreement. The new shipping lane hugs Ukraine’s coastline, which is protected by the Ukrainian military, before entering the coastal waters of Romania and Bulgaria, which are members of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.

The first ship to leave via the corridor sailed in August, with a series of ships entering and leaving the shipping lane at an increasing pace in recent days. Another 12 ships were waiting to enter the corridor as of Wednesday, the Ukrainian navy said.

Don’t expect the Russians to resupply their fleet, either. Turkey has closed the Bosphorus to all military vessels except its own under a 1936 treaty which allows them to control that traffic. Unless Russia builds new ships in its own Black Sea ports, they cannot replace any losses.

The news is just as bad on land for Russia. Ukraine announced yesterday that they are "starting to liberate Crimea," and had landed commando forces that were already pushing Russian troops into retreat, or worse. Ukrainian forces have been doing this for a while, but yesterday’s announcement gave the strongest suggestion yet that this is now a campaign rather than recon-in-force operations.

That, combined with the Russian retreat from its main naval base, sends a deliberate signal to Moscow that Putin is failing:

"It’s a very good sign [that] we are starting to liberate Crimea," Ukrainian lawmaker Oleksandr Merezhko told the Washington Examiner on Wednesday. "Crimea used to be a symbol of Russian success. And when we are putting this into question, when we are liberating it, it sends a very strong signal that Putin didn’t deliver, that he totally failed in his strategy and his policy."

On the other hand, Russian ships appear to have retreated, according to private-sector satellite imagery analysis and Western officials, in the wake of Ukrainian strikes on their fleet headquarters and dry docks that mangled a Russian attack submarine and landing vessel.

Bear in mind that the claims about commando operations are still largely unconfirmed, except for the videos which can’t show the scope of the campaign. However, the Russian navy’s retreat from their main base is confirmed by independent sources — and it’s not too difficult to imagine that Ukraine would press their advantage in Russia’s disarray.

The news looked equally grim for Moscow in the Bakhmut area, according to ISW, which also covered the naval retreat in last night’s assessment:

Ukrainian forces continued offensive operations near Bakhmut and in western Zaporizhia Oblast and marginally advanced on October 4. Ukrainian forces continued ground attacks towards the rail line between Klishchiivka (7km southwest of Bakhmut) and Andriivka (10km southwest of Bakhmut), and the Ukrainian General Staff stated that Ukrainian forces achieved partial success near these settlements.[7] Geolocated footage published on October 4 indicates that Ukrainian forces marginally advanced east of Novoprokopivka (5km southeast of Robotyne) in western Zaporizhia Oblast, and the Ukrainian General Staff also reported that Ukrainian forces achieved partial success west of Robotyne.[8] Some Russian sources claimed that Ukrainian forces advanced up to a Russian trench line on the Robotyne-Kopani line (5km northwest of Robotyne).[9]

If that’s grim for Moscow, it’s frustrating for Kyiv and their allies, too. They had hoped to see Ukraine break through the lines in this region and force Russian troops into a rout, but that hasn’t happened — yet, anyway. With the autumn rain season coming, the lines will likely firm up for a while, as ISW covers in another section. However, the continued pressure along the Donbas lines prevents Russia from reinforcing Crimea, and the earlier seizure of Kherson makes that difficult even if they had spare troops to send.

How long can the Russians play defense in both theaters? The retreat of Russia’s navy from Sevastopol might give us a hint of an answer.

#2  If you sail out to re-dock your ships at ports outside of missile and drone range, is that a retreat? I guess, maybe, but feel repositioning might be a better word for it.

#3  repositioning might be a better word for it

That is certainly true, but "Putin Perturbed As Black Sea Fleet Flees In Terror" is a much better headline.

#5  Actually, a rational response when it's been shown you're on the target list.

#6  Rational, yes.

But you just ceded control of the western Black sea to Ukraine. Strategic retreat/repositioning? Yes. But with the oil rigs you have given Ukraine carte blanche to hit all of western and southern Crimea.
Posted by: DarthVader || 10/05/2023 17:36 Comments || Top||

#7  Also think of this in game terms. You have to score 500 strategic points to win. This is worth 20-40. With the oil rigs, Russian navy gone and longer range anti ship and anti-air missiles being brought in Ukraine can ship grain unimpeded. The Russian blockade has gone from a farce to a complete joke and humiliation.

Wouldn't count out Russia in that area yet, but old Mr. 'Mo (momentum) has joined Ukraine and he is a bitch to get back on your side. Can happen. See the battle of Midway or Stalingrad, but hard to do and expensive in equipment and lives.

Two convicted clergy collaborators were exchanged for captured Ukrainian military personnel.

16:54 According to estimates by the OSINT community GeoConfirmed, Ukraine is ahead of Russia in the use of FPV drones. The graph shows the number of geolocated FPV drone strikes by month. Blue color is Ukrainian, red color is Russian.

16:32 Ukrainian military near the village of Rabotino, Zaporozhye region, advanced to a distance of 100 to 600 meters, said Alexander Shtupun, spokesman for the Tauride Defense Forces. In addition, according to him, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to put pressure on the Melitopol direction: over the past three days they managed to capture 25 Russian military personnel. “But the enemy does not give up and is trying to restore the lost position. In particular, to the west of Verbovoy and southeast of Malaya Tokmachka. The enemy is already throwing the elite - airborne troops - into the assault. But he is suffering losses,” the speaker added.

Unfortunately ", there are losses among the Ukrainian defenders, which are still not comparable to the Russian ones."

14:16 The Main Intelligence Directorate stated that special forces from Stugna and Brotherhood as part of Timur’s special forces landed in Crimea and inflicted fire on the invaders. The scouts also showed a video:

14:07 The Biden administration believes that offensive operations on the front in Ukraine are possible for another one and a half to two months, said White House National Security Council Coordinator John Kirby: “Time is not on our side. We still have 6-8 weeks of good weather there, for now.” the situation will not become more difficult for both sides." At the same time, he expressed hope that the Defense Forces will be able to achieve some success before the cold weather.

13:35 Last week, the Ukrainian and Western media space was stirred up by the so-called letter of reforms for Ukraine from the White House. This was so unexpected that until confirmation from Washington, doubts arose about the authenticity of the document. For at first it was reported that the letter contained “conditions for military assistance,” but these rumors were later dispelled by officials from both countries. Read more in the article Letter from the White House to Kiev .

In August-September, 59 children with accompanying persons were evacuated from the town of Stepnogorsk, Vasilyevsky district, and four settlements of the Pologovsky district, Zaporozhye region.

10:47 British intelligence reports that on September 28, Russian air defense forces “with a high probability” shot down their Su-35 aircraft over Tokmak. According to analysts, its loss was an extraordinary event, because it is the most advanced model of Russian combat aircraft and, perhaps, only the fifth time the Su-35 has been lost.

10:42 Hungary proposed dividing the EU aid package for Ukraine of 50 billion euros into two parts, Bloomberg writes. Budapest proposes to transfer 25 billion at the first stage, and then, “depending on needs,” to issue the rest.

10:28 Despite the situation with the resignation of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, bipartisan support for Ukraine will remain in the US Congress, said White House National Security Council Coordinator John Kirby: “Regardless of what happens in the House of Representatives, the entire leadership of the House supports continued assistance to Ukraine, and the vast majority of members of the House from outside Republicans support continued assistance to Ukraine."

Kirby acknowledged that there are a small number of very active members opposed to aid to Ukraine, but they do not represent their party.

09:57 Western countries are running out of ammunition reserves that could be provided to Ukraine, so it is necessary to increase production as soon as possible, said the head of the NATO military committee, Rob Bauer. “The bottom is already visible. We need the industry to increase production at a much faster pace,” Bauer emphasized. He added that NATO allies had increased their military budgets but not production capacity, pushing up prices.

09:34 Several weeks ago, the occupiers began to remove their “authorities” from Tokmak, Zaporozhye region, and a few days ago, Russian officers began to intensively evacuate their families, said the mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov. Schools, a college, a technical school are also being removed, and last night they announced that “administrative institutions,” shops and the market will not work today.

09:03 At night, the Russians attacked the village of Borovaya, Izyum district, Kharkov region, pre-controlled by an aerial bomb. A residential building, a kindergarten and an employment center building were damaged, one person was injured, said Oleg Sinegubov, head of the OVA.

08:56 Ukraine has the right to decide for itself where and in what circumstances to use Western weapons, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said: “Decisions on how to use Western military equipment and where to use them are made exclusively by Ukrainians. They must decide what is best "to defend their country, how best to return the lands. We leave this solely at their discretion, here our influence on the situation can only be advisory."

According to him, the United States is not going to encourage attacks on Russian territory and does not support such attacks. However, the final decision regarding these attacks remains with Ukraine and its military leadership, Blinken added.

08:44 On the evening of October 3, the Russian army attacked the village of Vyshneve, Selidovsky community, Donetsk region, the prosecutor’s office reported. The epicenter of the hit was the territory of one of the private enterprises. At the time of the attack, there were workers in the room who had just started their night shift, three of them were injured. As a result of the shelling, almost half of the workshop building was destroyed.

08:31 The General Staff announced the estimated losses of the Russian Federation as of the morning of October 4:

  • MLRS - 802 (+1),

  • air defense systems - 540 (+0),

  • aircraft - 315 (+0),

  • helicopters - 316 (+0),

  • UAV of operational-tactical level - 5121 (+41),

  • cruise missiles - 1530 (+1),

  • ships/boats - 20 (+0),

  • submarines - 1 (+0),

  • automotive equipment and tank trucks - 8962 (+30),

  • special equipment - 946 (+3).

07:28 During the offensive, the defense forces had partial success in the area west of Rabotino in the Melitopol direction, as well as Kleshcheevka and Andreevka in the Bakhmut direction, the General Staff reported in its morning report.

Over the past 24 hours, 43 military clashes took place at the front. In the Liman direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled enemy attacks in the Makeevka area of the Lugansk region; on Bakhmutsky - in the Andreevka area of the Donetsk region; on Avdeevsky - in the Pervomaisky area; on Maryinsky - in the Marinka and Krasnogorovka districts of the Donetsk region.

07:19 The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that at night 31 Ukrainian drones were allegedly intercepted and destroyed by air defense systems over the territory of the Belgorod, Bryansk and Kursk regions. Also, in the northwestern part of the Black Sea, an attempt to penetrate into the territory of Crimea by a landing group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, traveling in the direction of Cape Tarkhankut on a high-speed military boat and three jet skis, was allegedly stopped.

00:20 In all regions of Russia, a check of public warning systems will be held on October 4. Sirens and loudspeakers will be activated. The check will allow us to assess the performance of the warning systems and the readiness of the personnel on duty, explained the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation.

US is sounding the alarm: Russia and China are depriving America of a key monopoly
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
by Dmitry Kosyrev

[RIA] You should always read the source documents (reports, analytical reviews, etc.) in their entirety. Otherwise you'll miss out on a lot of fun. Well, for example, if you are too lazy to do this, you will only learn that some report from the US State Department accused China of “manipulating global media,” that is, of systematic lies on a global scale. And China, through a representative of its Foreign Ministry, responded as expected: on the contrary, the United States is a global “empire of lies.” And he gave a couple of famous examples. So what's new here?

21:15 Destruction of Ukrainian Armed Forces facility using a light multi-purpose guided missile "Izdeliye-305" in the Ugledar direction

19:27 The Ukrainian Armed Forces may intensify “meat assaults” in the area of the village of Rabotino due to a shortage of equipment and resources: analysis Military chronicle.

The problem with the lack of equipment has been observed before, but with the advent of cold weather it may become worse.

Since October 2, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have not carried out serious attacks in the Rabotino-Verbovoye section. According to the Military Chronicle, this is due both to large losses of unit personnel and to an increasing shortage of resources: ammunition, medicine and fuel.

An acute shortage in a number of positions has already necessitated a change in tactics. Before the onset of cold weather, the command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces may try to carry out a series of powerful attacks using armored vehicles and tanks, similar to those that were repulsed over the previous four months.

The bulk of military equipment, primarily American M2 Bradley infantry fighting vehicles and MaxxPro armored vehicles, are either not used directly in the offensive or are used at night. A significant part of the ammunition, medicine, food and other supplies is delivered exclusively by civilian transport - unarmored pickup trucks and minibuses.

A significant part of such logistics takes place along roads under the fire control of Russian artillery, as well as along plantings that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are trying to occupy in small groups. However, this opportunity may soon be lost: from the beginning of November the weather in Zaporozhye will deteriorate and rain will begin, due to which the routes used since the beginning of the offensive may become unavailable.

In addition, serious offensive actions require concentration of forces and means. Accumulating funds and supplying the group using “mosquito logistics” is difficult and extremely resource-intensive. Many pickup trucks and minivans require a significant number of drivers and fuel. Considering that the fuel and transport infrastructure has been subject to regular attacks since August, the Armed Forces of Ukraine may now already experience a shortage of gasoline and diesel fuel for both military equipment and vehicles.

There is no talk yet of a complete cessation of the offensive, but adjustments in plans due to the approaching thaw are inevitable. Firstly, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are already gradually revising plans for the work of “mosquito logistics” so as to be able to deliver to positions several times more weapons and ammunition than now. Apparently they plan to use them in reserve.

Secondly, in the rear areas of Orekhov and Malaya Tokmachka, the fleet of tracked vehicles is gradually being put in order, primarily MT-LB armored personnel carriers, which, presumably, will be entrusted with supplying the advancing units after the onset of rains and cold weather.

“Mosquito logistics” in civil transport existed only due to the higher speed of movement and frequent flights, however, with the onset of the thaw, it will be possible to use this option only within asphalt roads. An alternative method of supply can only be the movement of ammunition on foot groups.

According to Military Chronicle, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is already preparing for an increase in losses in the Rabotino-Verbovoye section due to potential delays in logistics. Additional units for the 116th, 117th and 118th Mechanized Infantry Brigades have been formed since the beginning of September.

These brigades, consisting mainly of forced mobilizations, are the main formations used in “meat assaults” instead of elite formations: the 47th Mechanized Infantry Brigade “Magura” and the 82nd Specialized Shock Brigade. They, presumably, can receive an order to continue the assaults at any cost if the necessary logistics of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in this area are not provided due to the weather or strikes by the Russian Armed Forces.

19:11 Explosions occurred in the city of Nikolaev in southern Ukraine. This was reported by the Ukrainian publication “Strana”.

18:47 From the Zaporozhye direction from the Verbovoye - Rabotino area, the Front Bird reports:

“Again there is a definite movement of enemy forces in our direction.

Aeronautical reconnaissance closely identifies the Armed Forces of Ukraine and their armored vehicles. They just let them light a 122mm art. We will show the material of the liquidation of enemy manpower and equipment to the respected public very soon.”

18:27 Long-suffering Yasinovataya second day under fire by NATO rounds - there is almost no “living place” left in the city, and people have to flee to the basements

For the second day in a row, Yasinovataya is under massive fire from Ukrainian militants. As a result of today's strike, an apartment building and at least four private households were damaged - women and children had to take shelter from the rounds in the basements to avoid casualties. Also, due to the artillery attack, gas supply was disrupted on two streets.

This is what the city itself looks like now - destroyed garages, damaged high-rise buildings. In the last few hours alone, local residents have counted three or four arrivals. According to the JCCC of the DPR, over the past 24 hours, the Armed Forces of Ukraine fired 23 155mm caliber rounds into Donetsk, Yasinovataya and Yasinovatsky district.

18:10 According to the operational lines of the DPR JCCC for October 4, as of 18:00, information was received about damage as a result of artillery attack by the Air Forces of the cities of the Republic:

n.p. Alexandrovka:

16:34 “All targets were hit, they worked perfectly”: crews of Su-25 attack aircraft destroyed military facilities and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Donetsk direction.

As an attack pilot with the call sign “Lemur” said, the crews were tasked with supporting the ground forces.

Having taken off from the home airfield and reached the target area, the “rooks” launched missiles in pairs from low altitudes.

As a result of the strikes, the enemy's camouflaged fortified field positions and armored vehicles were destroyed.

16:31 Even Western equipment is not helping the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ attempts to cross the Dnieper - our army continues to suppress the activities of the DRG

“Now there is an attempt to increase the number of troops for a possible crossing of the Dnieper and transition to the left bank. It is confirmed. The process is underway, more Western equipment is being added,” said the head of the region, Vladimir Saldo.

In addition, the governor added that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are still trying to land in small groups on the islands in the Dnieper floodplain, but their attempts are being stopped by Russian forces.

15:30 Explosions are reported in Slavyansk.

In addition, alarms have been declared in the Poltava, Dnepropetrovsk and Kharkov regions.

Putin says Kyiv is exterminating Russian culture in new regions of Russia
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] Ukrainian authorities exterminated Russian culture in new regions of Russia when they were under the control of Kiev, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on October 4 during a conversation with finalists of the Teacher of the Year competition at the Sirius educational center.

He noted the key importance of education for the entire education system.

“This is especially true for the Donetsk Republic, Lugansk Republic, Zaporozhye, Kherson regions. In those territories where essentially all Russian culture, Russian language and literature were exterminated ,” Putin said.

The President recalled the sad fact that the Ukrainian authorities actually ban the Russian language.

As Regnum reported , on July 4, Putin called the destruction of Russian culture abroad an attempt at suicide . He emphasized that it has already become part of European and world culture. The President also stated that the culture of such a great people as the Russian one cannot be destroyed.

On September 20, Putin said that those who are trying to abolish Russian culture are robbing themselves . He noted the insignificance of such attempts against the background of the greatness of Russian art.

Ukrainian officials fear cash will dry up – WSJ
[RT] The Ukrainian government could face a shortage of money and be unable to pay salaries if the US Congress fails to approve another injection of funds into the Ukrainian economy, the Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday.

Citing both Ukrainian and American officials, the outlet noted that a sudden halt to funding could raise discontent in Ukraine and put pressure on President Vladimir Zelensky.

The Ukrainian government will reportedly have to decide what services and salaries to cut in order to stay afloat. The WSJ said the US and other donor nations currently pay the salaries of some 150,000 civil servants in Ukraine as well as over half a million teachers, professors, and school workers. Foreign financing is also covering expenses when it comes to health care and housing subsidies.

A US official told the WSJ that the US Agency for International Development will process an October funds transfer of $1.15 billion through the World Bank as long as Kiev can prove it appropriately spent the previous transfer.

But while Ukraine will likely have the necessary funds to last through October, it will have a harder time beyond that if foreign aid dries up. One Ukrainian official told the WSJ that the government will be able to use some reserve funds to make it through November and December. However, after that, the situation will turn dire without fresh cash injections, the official said.

The WSJ report comes after the US Congress passed a 45-day stopgap government funding bill last week that omitted any aid to Ukraine despite requests from the Biden administration to make sure the cash flow remains uninterrupted.

...Since the start of the Russia-Ukraine conflict in February 2022, Kiev has received over $185 billion from the US and the EU in military, humanitarian, and government aid. Nevertheless, Zelensky’s administration has asked for even more and expects another $42 billion from international donors next year, according to Ukrainian Finance Minister Sergei Marchenko.

However, as recently noted by Politico, international support for Ukraine may be waning. The US and EU have admitted that they have started to run out of weapons to send. Meanwhile, the failure of the US to include Ukraine aid in its budget, the vow by Slovakia’s new prime minister, Robert Fico, to stop assistance to Ukraine, and Ukraine's ongoing diplomatic row with Poland have all sent "a chilling message" that Kiev may soon have to consider negotiations with Moscow.

Government Corruption
Ukraine has become the cause of a political crisis in the United States.
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

Commentary by Russian military blogger Andrey Chervonets

The Ukrainian president is toxic - in two weeks he paralyzed the work of the parliaments of almost the entire continent - the parliaments of the United States and Canada have lost their speakers.

First, as we all remember, Zelensky, with Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau and Speaker of the Canadian Parliament Anthony Rota, essentially gave a shit to the Ukrainian Nazi, a veteran of the SS troops, whom the main Canadian parliamentarian recommended as a “Ukrainian hero.” The Speaker was later forced to resign.

And yesterday, our time on Wednesday night, another interesting episode happened.

The US House of Representatives dismissed its Speaker Kevin McCarthy and went into a forced recess for a week. Removal of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, incl. party members happened for the first time in US history.

Next Wednesday, the House of Representatives is scheduled to begin the process of selecting a new chairman.

Last time it turned out to be a very protracted action - it took 15 votes.

Now the situation could repeat itself again - and the procedure for selecting a speaker could drag on for a long time. the work of Congress is now de facto frozen in the absence of the Speaker.

Thus, the split around support for Ukraine moved from a rhetorical plane to a practical one and led to an acute crisis. And it is already clear that as the elections approach, the split in the United States over Ukraine will only grow.

What's next? Tom Emmer, third in the hierarchy of Republicans in the House of Representatives, has a good chance of becoming the new speaker.

But now things can go even more unpredictable. Fox News host Sean Hannity says that, according to his sources, immediately after Kevin McCarthy's resignation, a group of House Republicans contacted Donald Trump's campaign and invited him to take over as speaker. And he doesn’t seem to mind helping out fellow party members, at least temporarily.

It would seem that Trump is not even a congressman. But it's okay. US laws allow this post to be held by a citizen who is not a congressman. The ex-president's candidacy for the post of speaker has already been nominated by Congressman Troy Nehls.

P.S.
Walk like that! Now I look forward to Zelensky’s visit to the European Parliament. Whatever the Ukrainian president touches, everything turns shit

Drone after the Terminator demonstrates warfare abilities by dropping a torpedo from mid-air
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] A drone called the T-600 -the same name as the Terminator - successfully launched a torpedo from the sky.

BAE Systems demonstrated the feat during a NATO training exercise, which saw a human controller fly the quadcopter strapped with the torpedo from a dock and over the ocean, where it let the weapon drop.

The electric-powered, car-sized T-600 has a payload capacity of 441 pounds, tops speeds of 87 miles per hour and has a range of up to 50 miles.

The demonstration aimed to showcase the anti-submarine warfare capabilities of the T-600 and its potential for automated logistics, resupply, casualty and evacuation.

#3  Take a peek at this Mini-killer Drone video from 4+ years ago. This weaponry has been around for years.

Now apply the idea if a Radical Left group used just 1, Mini-Killer-Drone unit programmed for a ravels face at a Open public political campaign rally.

Then they would just feed the media its talking points blaming it on whoever the DC swamp wanted.

Maybe even use it to start a new War?
