Turkish lawmaker dies two days after collapsing while giving a speech saying Israel would 'suffer the wrath of Allah' for invading Gaza
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Hasan Bitmez, 54, a member of parliament from the opposition Felicity (Saadet) Party, died in Ankara City Hospital, Health Minister Fahrettin Koca told reporters in televised remarks.

Video had showed Bitmez falling to the floor after giving a speech in the General Assembly Hall in Ankara - prompting other politicians to run over to his aid.

Rounding off a strongly worded speech, Bitmez had concluded: 'We can perhaps hide from our conscience but not from history,' stating that 'Israel will suffer the wrath of Allah', as reported by The Yeshiva World.

At that moment, he stumbled and dropped to his knees before lying flat on his back. The Saadet Party Kocaeli Deputy had to be stretchered out of the hall after receiving chest compressions 'for a long time', Turkish media reports.

Turhan Çömez, a deputy from the Kemalist İYİ Party and a trained doctor, was reportedly the first to help his political rival.

Bitmez, who is married and has a child, was taken to the Bilkent City Hospital in Ankara where he underwent treatment in the intensive care unit while in a critical condition.

Koca said on Tuesday that an angiography revealed that the two main veins in his heart were completely blocked.

'His heart stopped beating, then he was resuscitated in parliament and transferred within 20 minutes to hospital' where medical machinery kept him alive, Koca had said on Tuesday.

But Koca revealed that Bitmez died today - two days after he suffered the heart attack.

A graduate of Cairo's Al Azhar University, Bitmez was the chairman of the Centre for Islamic Union Research and had previously worked for Islamic non-governmental organisations, his parliament biography shows.

Shortly before he collapsed on Tuesday, Bitmez had been criticising President Tayyip Erdogan's ruling AK Party (AKP) over Turkey's ongoing trade with Israel despite the war in Gaza, and despite the government's sharp rhetorical criticism of Israel's military bombardment.

"You allow ships to go to Israel and you shamelessly call it trade... You are Israel's accomplice," Bitmez said in his speech after placing a banner on the podium reading: "Murderer Israel; collaborator AKP".

"You have the blood of Palestinians on your hands, you are collaborators. You contribute to every bomb Israel drops on Gaza," he told lawmakers during debate over the foreign ministry's 2024 budget.

After finishing the speech, Bitmez suddenly fell backward on the floor, with other MPs rushing from their seats to help. It has now been confirmed he died today after receiving treatment in hospital.

Bitmez was elected as the 28th Term Kocaeli Deputy in the elections of May 14, 2023. He served for the opposition Felicity (Saadet) Party, which is an Islamist Turkish political party founded in 2001.

After the Islamist Virtue Party was banned in July 2001 for violating secularist principles of Turkey's constitution, reformists founded the incumbent Justice and Development Party (AKP), a conservative party run by president Recep Tayip Erdoğan, while hardliners formed Saadet.

Turkey and Israel normalised ties only last year, but relations have soured since Hamas' October 7 strike into southern Israel.

Erdoğan - who only narrowly won the May election - has looked to widen his conservative base with backing from the country's religious fringe.

Since October, he has taken a strong position against Israel and both countries have recalled their ambassadors while remaining open to trade.

Prior to the war, Erdoğan had expressed political support for Hamas' political wing, seeing it as a viable government in the Gaza Strip. The war has seen a shift in rhetoric.

At the end of October, the president accused Israel's allies of creating a 'crusade war atmosphere pitting Christians against Muslims'.

'The main culprit behind the massacre unfolding in Gaza is the West,' he said at a rally of several hundred thousand Palestinian supporters in Istanbul on October 28.

Turkey has also pledged humanitarian aid to Gaza, with harrowing accounts of food, water, fuel and medical supply shortages coming out of the beleaguered enclave.

'A total of 51 containers of medical supplies, generators and 20 ambulances, with necessary permissions, were loaded onto a ship from Izmir's Alsancak port and sent to Egypt,' Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said on November 10.

'As part of the aid, a fully equipped heavy-climate type field hospital with operating rooms and intensive-care units and inflatable type field hospitals were sent,' he said.

Kanye West to debut new album featuring top artists, antisemitic lyrics
Is he on the manic side of his cycle again?
[IsraelTimes] Rapper known as Ye had been largely disowned by the music industry following hate-filled outbursts about Jews and promotion of antisemitic conspiracies last year

At the end of 2022, Kanye West, the billionaire rapper who now goes by Ye, seemed to be persona non grata in the entertainment industry. After months of antisemitic rants on social media and in unhinged interviews, he was dropped from a lucrative business partnership with Adidas and booted from his longtime record label.

But on Sunday, he hosted a swanky album release party in Miami, in advance of the record’s upcoming debut this Friday. The album, titled "Vultures," was written in partnership with longtime collaborator Ty Dolla Sign, and its track listing features a who’s-who of respected rap industry names — from artists such as Lil Baby and Nicki Minaj to producers like Timbaland, who has worked with the likes of Beyonce and Justin Timberlake.

On the album’s eponymous lead single, released last month, West raps: "How I’m antisemitic? I just f—ed a Jewish bitch/I just f—ed Scooter’s bitch," referencing Jewish music mogul Scooter Braun.

"At a time of rising antisemitism worldwide, it’s disgusting to see Kanye once again use his platform to spew Jew-hatred," the Anti-Defamation League responded.

Even though the single did not make any Billboard music charts, West’s album seems headed for a large audience on most major streaming platforms — despite the performer having spent months in the spotlight over antisemitic comments.

In October 2022, he threatened to "go death con 3" on Jewish people, a phrase that was widely interpreted to connote violence. He tweeted images of swastikas, picked fights with Jewish figures and praised Hitler in a sprawling interview with conspiracy theorist Alex Jones. He bragged that he could "say antisemitic s—t" while maintaining business ties with Adidas, and several reports came out about his longtime fascination with Nazism.

West, also a clothing designer in recent years, made headlines for his fashion choice at Sunday’s event: a black pointed hood that resembled part of the Ku Klux Klan’s uniform. He previously used the black hood imagery in the music video for his 2013 song "Black Skinhead."

The timing coincided with the prestigious Art Basel art fair, but West’s event was not an official part of the show. Last week, a group of artists began bringing large reproductions of milk cartons with the names of Israeli hostages to sites across Miami, including at Art Basel locations.

Others who feature on the "Vultures" album, according to the track listing leaked online, include Bad Bunny, a Puerto Rican rapper who is one of the most popular artists in the world; Nicki Minaj, who has sold over 100 million records; Grammy winner Lil Baby; Grammy nominee Freddie Gibbs; influential rapper Young Thug (who is currently on trial for a possible gang conspiracy); and West’s 10-year-old daughter, North West.

Also featured is Kodak Black, a rapper who reportedly became interested in Judaism while in prison in 2019 and donated $1,000 to an Orthodox synagogue.

Not all of West’s plans have panned out, including a larger album release show originally slated at a stadium in Italia that seats 100,000 people. And while West and Ty Dolla Sign say their album will come out on Friday, it is unclear what record label will release it. Billboard reported in October that West was still shopping the album around.

Caucasus/Russia/Central Asia
Only two of the Jewish communities of Dagestan celebrated Hanukkah
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[KavkazUzel] In Makhachkala and Derbent, Hanukkah celebrations were held with the participation of representatives of republican and local authorities; in the Jewish community of Khasavyurt they refused to celebrate.

As "Caucasian Knot" wrote, members of the Jewish communities of Kizlyar and Khasavyurt, after anti-Semitic actions in Dagestan announced a tense atmosphere in the republic and suspended work.

Hanukkah - a holiday of candles, which are lit in honor of the miracle that occurred during the consecration of the temple after the victory in 164 BC by the troops of Yehuda Maccabee over the troops of King Antiochus, who banned Judaism. According to legend, during the war between the Greeks and Jews, only one candle remained untouched in the destroyed Jewish temple, which continued to burn for eight days. To commemorate this miracle, Hanukkah is celebrated for eight days. On Hanukkah, children are given toys and some money, which they are taught to share with those in need.
Not a bad description. Considerably better than whatsisname — Kamala Harris’s husband, who only got right that it was long ago and Jews were involved.
Hanukkah celebrations took place as usual, the “Caucasian Knot” correspondent was informed by Chairman of the Centralized Religious Organization of Jewish Communities of Dagestan, Valery Dibiyaev.

"We didn’t cancel anything. On December 10 there was a solemn ceremony in Makhachkala, on December 12 in Derbent,” he said. According to Dibiyaev, 50-60 people, both adults and children, gathered for the celebration in Makhachkala, and “perhaps even more” in Derbent.

He noted that the congratulations of the Jewish community on Hanukkah by the head of the republic, Sergei Melikov, is not a one-time act, but a tradition. “Every year we are congratulated on Hanukkah,” he said. According to him, representatives of local authorities, including the head of the city, the Dagestan parliament and the Ministry of Nationalities, attended the celebrations in Makhachkala and Derbent.

As follows from the video published in the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Nationalities of Dagestan, the head of the department for religious affairs of the Ministry of Nationalities of Dagestan visited the Hanukkah celebration in DerbentMuhammad Magomedov, who read out a welcoming speech from the head of the republic Sergei Melikov. “I express my gratitude to the Jewish communities of Dagestan for the great work being done to preserve unity and harmony in the region,” Magomedov quoted Melikov as saying.

From October 26 to October 29, mass anti-Semitic actions took place in the cities of three republics of the North Caucasus Federal District. In Cherkessk, protesters demanded that visitors from Israel not be allowed in, and in Nalchik a cultural center was set on fire. At the Makhachkala airport, an anti-Semitic action turned into mass riots. Details of the events are given in the certificate of the "Caucasian Knot" "Anti-Semitic actions in the North Caucasus: how it happened". Also by the "Caucasian Knot" a certificate has been prepared "Wave of anti-Semitic actions in the North Caucasus".

As of 23.30 Moscow time on December 14, this year no congratulations on Hanukkah have been published on the Telegram channel of the head of the republic. In 2022, Melikov congratulated representatives of Jewish communities; the text of the congratulation was published on December 20, 2022.

Also at the festival in Derbent were the Deputy Head of Derbent Vidadi Zeynalov, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on National Policy, Issues of Public and Religious Associations and Inter-Parliamentary Relations of the Parliament of Dagestan Adi Aliyev, follows from the video dated December 12.

A representative of the Jewish community of Khasavyurt told the Caucasian Knot correspondent that the community did not celebrate Hanukkah this year, without specifying the reasons for canceling the celebration.

Correspondent of the "Caucasian Knot" It was not possible to contact the Jewish community of Kizlyar, which did not report the celebration of Hanukkah and the resumption of work.

On October 29, mass riots occurred at Makhachkala airport due to reports of the arrival of a plane with passengers from Israel. More than 20 people were injured, including nine police officers. By November 25, the district courts of Dagestan received administrative cases of 515 people, on which protocols were drawn up on offenses during the anti-Semitic action and riots in Makhachkala, by December 1 it is known about 242 decisions on these cases. In pre-trial detention center No. 1 of Makhachkala there are about 150 people arrested in a criminal case in connection with the riots at the airport. What happened at Uytash airport, and how the investigation is proceeding, is described in the certificate of the "Caucasian Knot" " The case of the pogrom at Makhachkala airport".

Jews lived in the North Caucasus for many centuries and made a significant contribution to the cultural and social life of Dagestan, Chechnya and Kabardino-Balkaria, says the “Caucasian Knot” certificate.

Right-wing activist Chwenka threatened to blow up the Polish Sejm over Hanukkah candles
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] Polish right-wing activist, former candidate for senator Jacek Chwenka threatened with an explosion in the Polish Sejm if candles in the Hanukkah menorah were lit there again. He announced this on the social network X (formerly Twitter).

The activist commented on the news that the extinguished candles will be lit at 16:00 (18:00 Moscow time) on December 14.

“At 16:01 a bomb will explode in the Sejm office. The Hanukkah menorah will fly into the air along with those who light it,” wrote Chvenka.

As reported IA Regnum, the menorah in the Polish Sejm on the occasion of the Jewish holiday Hanukkah was installed opposite the Christmas tree. On December 12, a member of the Polish Sejm from the coalition of nationalists and Eurosceptics “Confederation of Freedom and Independence” Grzegorz Braun took a fire extinguisher and extinguished the candles .

Speaker of the Sejm Szymon Holownia On December 13, he said that because of Brown’s act he might lose his post. Kholownya also demanded that the coalition expel the deputy who put out the candles. Krzysztof Bosak Vice Speaker of Parliament from the Confederation

As it became known on December 14, Brown was suspended from work in the Sejm and issued a large fine. In addition, the deputy was deprived of benefits for six months. At the same time, in Poland announced a fundraiser for him.

Polish parliament holds 2nd Hanukkah candle lighting ceremony, this time without a hitch

[IsraelTimes] A second Hanukkah candle lighting ceremony is held in the Polish parliament, after a far-right member of parliament used a fire extinguisher to put out candles lit in the same ceremony two days ago, drawing widespread condemnation in the country.

Speaker of the Sejm, the lower house of the Polish parliament, Szymon Holownia, together with the Speaker of the Senate Malgorzata Kidawa Blonska and Polish President Polish Andrzej Duda are all in attendance at Thursday night’s lighting.

Polish Chief Rabbi Michael Schudrich says some two dozen politicians from the Senate and Sejm were also in attendance, along with Israel’s Ambassador to Poland Yakov Livne, around 100 members of the Jewish community, Rabbi Shalom Ber Stambler, Director of Chabad of Poland, and Schudrich himself.

Before today’s candle lighting ceremony, Holownia read out in parliament a letter written by Stambler and Schudrich to him regarding Tuesday’s incident in which the candles were extinguished by MP Grzegorz Braun of the Confederation party.

The two rabbis expressed their thanks to the speaker for condemning the incident and sanctioning Braun, and called on him to hold a second ceremony in order to "persevere" in the fight against "evil and hatred" in the country.

"By standing together tonight with the leadership of Poland and the Jewish community of Poland we show the real face of Poland," says Schudrich at today’s candle lighting.

"Together we stand for cooperation and understanding and against antisemitism and hatred of any kind. Two days ago, someone extinguished our candles. What did we do? We immediately relit the candles. This is the story of Jewish as well as Polish history. Many have tried to extinguish us but we will always relight the lights."

North American Jewry has raised $1 billion for Israel during war, scholars estimate
It doesn’t matter that the American government doesn’t give Israel money — Americans are handling it themselves. Herewith a small report from the Jewish side. I suspect non-Jewish Zionists are in the same ballpark, if not more.
[IsraelTimes] North American Jewry has raised about $1 billion for Israel during its war with Hamas, the authors of a new report on this subject estimate.

The Jewish Federations of North America raised more than $600 million for Israel within a single month of the outbreak of war between Hamas and Israel, says the report published yesterday, which is titled “Stand United — US Jewry and Israel During the First Month of the War” and was authored by scholars at the University of Haifa’s Ruderman Program for American Jewish Studies.

The remaining $400 million figure is an estimation of donations raised in multiple campaigns by other communal and private organizations with a Jewish affiliation, including friendship associations supporting Israeli hospitals, universities and emergency services, David Barak-Gorodetsky, director of the Ruderman Program, tells The Times of Israel.

The $602 million raised by the Jewish Federations of North America and its constituent member organizations exceeds their $500 million goal, which they announced at the start of the fundraising campaign in the very beginning of the war on October 7, when 3,000 Hamas terrorists murdered some 1,200 Israelis in a brutal cross border raid and took 240 hostages.

These figures amount to an “unprecedented contribution,” states the 71-page report. The $602 million raised by the federations in October 2023 represents a 70% increase over the Federations’ second-largest campaign for Israel in recent years, which occurred during the 2006 Second Lebanon War.

(Adjusted for inflation, the $360 million raised in 2006 is equivalent to $540 million in 2023. The $350 million raised by Jewish Federations for Israel during the Second Intifada in 2002 is equivalent to about $595 million in 2023.)

In addition to raising funds, North American Jewish communities’ vigorous and ongoing public advocacy response includes 143 solidarity rallies held across North American in the first month of the war alone, the report’s authors write.

The war is changing the internal dynamics of North American Jewry, the report adds. “Just as the war has united Israeli society — or at least reduced the debate on divisions in it – so has the American-Jewish public rallied around the common cause, according to many conversations we’ve had,” the authors write.

They cite the proliferation of joint prayer events across denominations and the sidelining of criticism of Israel on both sides of the conservative-liberal ideological divide.

PA can ‘re-activate’ 3,500 of its 15,000 ex-security force members in post-war Gaza, Palestinian official tells ToI
[IsraelTimes] The Paleostinian Authority will initially be able to "re-activate" at least 3,500 of some 15,000 former members of its security forces in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. , a Paleostinian official tells The Times of Israel.
They’re the ones who couldn’t hold Gaza against Hamas in 2007. What makes the PA’s rulers think they could hold it after Hamas surrenders to Israel?
The figure was reached in an assessment that the PA conducted in recent weeks amid a US-encouraged effort for it to eventually return to governing Gaza after losing elections to Hamas
...the braying voice of Islamic Resistance®,...
in 2005 and being booted from the Strip two years later.

The official says more ex-PA troops will eventually be able to bolster the first several thousand but that they and others will need additional training.

A senior Biden administration official briefing news hounds says, "There are a number of security personnel in Gaza linked to the Paleostinian Authority, which we think might be able to provide some sort of nucleus in the many months that follow the overall military campaign."

The official says that the PA security forces have "performed incredibly well" in the West Bank, thwarting an effort by Hamas to use cells in the territory to "instigate violence and uprising in the days after October 7."

Through its US Security Coordinator in Jerusalem Gen. Mike Fenzel, the US has helped train the PA security forces and its work with them has continued through October 7, the senior administration official says.

Reports indicate initial, unofficial talks for new hostage deal with Hamas
[IsraelTimes] Some reports are claiming there are initial, informal negotiations over a potential renewed hostage deal with Hamas

The London-based pan-Arab news site al-Araby al-Jadeed quotes unnamed Egyptian sources as saying Israel has asked Cairo to mediate a deal.

Haaretz cites Paleostinian sources as saying Qatar

Hamas has publicly been claiming no deal is possible while fighting is ongoing.

Strip offering money for information on the whereabouts of Yahya Sinwar and other commanders in the terror group.

Images of a pamphlet are circulating on social media, showing it promising Gazooks $400,000 for information on Hamas’s Gaza leader Sinwar; $300,000 for information on his brother, Muhammed Sinwar, who commands the terror group’s southern brigade; $200,000 for information on Rafaa Salameh, the commander of Hamas’s Khan Younis battalion; and a measly $100,000 for information on Mohammed Deif, the commander of Hamas’s military wing.

The flier contains a telephone number and a contact on the Telegram messaging app, with the IDF promising confidentiality.

#3  The Americans use higher figures, but its a level that usually is beyond the target audience to grasp. Lower numbers are easier to understand in their life context. Now if the Americans offered non-productive jobs as Hollyweird agents to de-flower aspiring actresses and groom nubile children, that would probably have great appeal.

Hamas Leader Gives Conditions For Peace Talks Amid Conflict With Israel
[SAHARAREPORTERS] The head of Hamas

, has said the hard boy group is open to negotiations to end the war with Israel but stressed that any final deal would have to lead to an independent Paleostinian state.

In a televised speech on Wednesday, monitored by RT, Haniyeh said Hamas was prepared for dialogue with Israel, hoping that future talks could put "the Paleostinian house in order both in the West Bank and the Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. Strip."

He said, "We are open to discuss any arrangement or initiative that could end the aggression" and lead to a "political path that secures the right of the Paleostinian people to their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital."

However,
Switzerland makes more than cheese...
the official went on to warn that any attempt to exclude Hamas and other gangs from a post-war settlement would be a "delusion," saying the "resistance factions" must be involved in the process.

Haniyeh’s comments came just one day after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu suggested that a Paleostinian state was out of the question, vowing to never "repeat the mistake of Oslo," a 1993 peace deal which created a roadmap for a sovereign Paleostinian nation.

While Israel previously accepted the idea in principle, the process established by the Oslo Accords has long since broken down, all but freezing the decades-long conflict. More than 30 years later, Israeli troops continue to occupy the West Bank, where Jewish settlement outposts have rapidly grown in recent years, while the government maintains a tight blockade over the Gaza Strip.

On Wednesday, Netanyahu declared that Israel would continue its military operation in Gaza "until Hamas is annihilated," adding that even in the face of international pressure, "nothing will stop us."

‘Many prefer to see Jewish people dead': RT speaks to Israeli MP about Gaza operation
That's Russian Gov Organ
Israel's operation in Gaza has entered its third month. The campaign was launched in response to the massacre of October 7, in which at least 1,200 Israelis were murdered by Hamas militants.

So far, more than 22,000 targets belonging to Hamas and the Palestinian group Islamic Jihad have been struck. In pursuing its stated goal of eliminating Hamas, Israel has killed more than 17,000 people, of whom 7,000 were allegedly terrorists.

To gauge Israel's achievements, its goals, and how the war is perceived in the world, RT spoke with Sharren Haskel, a member of the Knesset (Israel's parliament) from the National Unity party, known for its centrist views on security. The party is led by former IDF chief of staff Benny Gantz, who according to recent polls is projected to become Israel's next prime minister, with his faction projected to gain some 38 out of 120 seats in parliament.
So, Russians don't understand how Israeli Democracy works (neither are most Israelis)
"HAMAS DOESN'T HAVE ANY LIMITS"
RT: Let's start with the recent operation in Khan Yunis. The IDF says it is hunting down Hamas military leader Yehiya Sinwar, but Palestinians believe the operation is designed to tighten Israel's grip over Gaza, occupy it, and control the Gazan population. What do you have to say on that?

Haskel
: We are not after the Gazan population. What Hamas is doing is waging a psychological war. We have plenty of information from Hamas fighters [that were captured and interrogated — ed.] to support that. We know for a fact that Sinwar moved from the north of the Gaza Strip to the south with the help of the humanitarian corridor that Israel has opened. We also know for a fact that Hamas took hostages, dressed them up as Palestinians and moved them to the south, using that same corridor. We know that they are constantly using and abusing the humanitarian assistance Israel gives. Of course, Israel will continue to give assistance. Yet, we also have to fight Hamas and we will get them. We will reach each Nukhba [elite unit of Hamas that carried out the deadly attacks on Israel on October 7 — ed.] and Hamas terrorist and eliminate them. Only this way the area is going to be safer, not only for the Israelis but for the Palestinians too.

RT: Israel was saying there are underground bunkers and tunnels under the Shifa complex. Allegations have also been made about piles of ammunition. But so far not that many visuals were released, and even that of limited arms. Isn't it hurting Israel's image?

Haskel:
What you are saying is simply incorrect. We have plenty of images showing bunkers and tunnels under the Shifa hospital. We saw that the Nukhba fighters brought hostages into that medical complex. We saw and heard from eyewitnesses that they were maltreated by the medical staff. One girl [Mia Schem — ed.] was treated by a vet. Her life will never be the same again. We gathered plenty of evidence from that hospital and we showed that Hamas accumulated much of its arms there. We showed shafts, and armed people in and around the hospital. We showed rockets that were fired from there... Just a few days ago we saw that Hamas was firing rockets from a humanitarian area where Palestinians have settled [Mawasi — ed.]. So I can tell you for sure — Hamas doesn't have any limits. It is using their own Palestinian population and the international organizations to pursue its goals.

RT: Israel keeps on claiming it is trying not to harm civilians but so far more than 17,000 have lost their lives. Out of those, around 7000 are militants. Wasn't there any better way to combat terror but to bomb the entire population including women and children?

Haskel:
We are doing everything in our power to avoid it. There isn't a single army in the world that is trying to avoid civilian deaths as much as we do. Of course this makes the goal [to eliminate Hamas — ed.] more difficult, and it will take us longer to reach it, but we will eventually, and in the process of doing so, we will continue to exert efforts to try and avoid civilian casualties.

"THERE IS A LOT OF HYPOCRISY HERE"
RT: International tolerance of the operation in Gaza seems to be coming to an end. Do you think Israel will continue the operation even if support fades?

Haskel:
The world understands that Hamas needs to be eliminated. At least this is the case with those states that share the same values of freedom and democracy that we do. They are all supportive because they understand that if we don't fight Hamas, the lives of Israelis and the Palestinians will not be safe here. What Hamas did on October 7 was a crime against humanity. After those horrendous attacks the world has come to realise that Hamas is a radical and an extreme organization just like ISIS. The countries that believe in these values and who believe in the sanctity of life support Israel. I just came back from the EU and I saw the vast support they give us. We have two goals in this war: to eliminate Hamas and to make sure that all our hostages come back home, and we will not rest until these goals are achieved.

RT: Do you think there is always a stop watch when it comes to Israel, as opposed to the US for example, whose actions in Iraq have never been limited?

Haskel:
Of course Israel is being held to a different standard. When you look at other conflicts around the world, including the Russia-Ukraine conflict, or the war in Syria, nobody seemed to blink and condemn. But when it comes to Israel, there is always a lot of criticism and condemnation. So of course there is a lot of hypocrisy here. We are also facing growing antisemitism and hatred. Many people prefer to see Israelis or the Jewish people dead.
There is more, but the point here, the interviewer is pretty professional - unlike you know who
