Ramadan Friday Khutbah: Arrogance Slams The Doors To Paradise Shut (Part 1)
EFL: From our friends at Jihad Unhinged. I left out all the verses and the PBUH shit. And guess what? We're all going to hell...
By Abu Haitham Al-Hijazee
Albert Einstein, Alexander Fleming, and Jonas Salk, are just a few names of late famous scientists whose discoveries significantly impacted mankind every where on earth. The brilliant work of Albert Einstein that led to his discovery of the relationship between matter and energy: E = mc2 and its far reaching implications may not be comprehended by the average man on the street, but applications of his discovery of “The Photoelectric Effect” is felt by all of us every time we step into a department store, a public building, a hospital, an airport, and the like. As you approach an automatic double door of a building, you interrupt a light beam that activates a switch to keep the door closed. Once the light beam is interrupted, the electric circuit is disconnected and the door swings open. Alexander Fleming’s research work on bacteria and his subsequent discovery of penicillin, a potent antibiotic, led to mass production of penicillin and other derivatives that have been used as effective antibiotics against harmful bacteria. Antibiotics have been saving millions of lives since their discovery in early to mid 1990’s. Jonas Salk has been credited for the invention of polio vaccine that eradicated that crippling disease.
In spite of their significant contribution to the well being of mankind, all three scientists are now being punished in their graves and they will be thrown in Hellfire on the day of resurrection because they died in a state of Kufr or “unbelief” unless they embraced Islam before their death Their worldly knowledge, intellect, and deeds were not for Allah; they were useless in securing a positive eternal future.
Well wasn't Einstein going to hell anyways Abu? Seeing how he was a Jew and all?
Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, and Condoleezza Rice are just a few names of individuals who may have not been involved with science or medicine but who have tremendous impact on the lives of millions of people across the globe. Bill and Hillary Clinton were former US President and First Lady, respectively. Condi Rice is the current US Secretary of State. Domestic and foreign policies enacted by US presidents and top politicians impact the public not only in their country but elsewhere as well. They usually come to office with credentials from so called top schools in the country, and many Americans believe that top schools in USA are top schools in the world. Bill and Hillary Clinton are Yale graduates. Condoleezza Rice used to lecture at Stanford University before becoming a member of the Bush Cabinet. Ex-US presidents and top officials continue to lead a famous life after leaving office. They go on tours giving lectures, people pay to listen to them and get their advice on a variety of matters, and they publish books and many of their books hit the best seller’s list. Like the first group, this group, too, despite their well recognized academic and political achievements, their fate will be the same if they die in a state of Kufr, or unbelief.
Bill Gates? Going to hell. Donald Trump? Going to hell. Jessica Simpson? Going to hell. The Clinton's? We already knew that. Roger Clemens? Going to...
There is a third group of people which is comprised of thousands upon thousands of individuals whose impact on societies may be little or nothing but they share the same intellect with the other two groups. Individuals in this group have attended and received undergraduate and graduate degrees from top schools, such as, Harvard, Princeton, Stanford, Yale, Oxford, and Sorbonne. This group obviously is not limited to full fledged Kafir by birth but also includes Muslims and so- called Muslims (Muslims only in name or by birth). The majority of individuals in this group who might also think of themselves as Muslims have adopted the western way of thinking, reasoning, arguing, and debating. They use meaningless and invalid western debates instead of Divine- driven or Divine -supported evidence to reach a conclusion or affect an opinion. They think they can apply intellect to every religious matter. Therefore, they are no different from Kafirs, even if they pray and fast.
Every black guy in the NBA? Going to hell.
People in the three groups above are well respected and looked up to by societies at large. According to low and defective worldly standards, individuals in all groups above are believed to be the “best of the best” in terms of their intellectual capacity, education, leadership, communication and the like. But in the sight of Allah, they are the lowest of the low; they are even lower than animals.
So does this mean you can have sex with them, Abu?
The people we talked of in the previous three categories deserved Allah’s description of them because they are void of wisdom and do not use their senses. Despite their so-called education and intellect, they failed to reach the simple conclusion that the affairs of the heavens and earth and whatever is in them or on them, be they humans or non-humans, cannot be managed by anyone but Allah and Him alone. Allah has created every thing with a natural way or instinct to recognize the oneness of Allah but those so-called highly educated and super smart individuals cannot see that. They think too much of themselves, they think their intellectual capacity qualifies them to debate issues that have all ready been settled by Allah.
So why are you wasting my time if everything's already been settled by Allah, dickhead?
According to Verse 30:30, the nature in which Allah has made mankind leads to recognizing and accepting the truth (Islam, monotheism, tawheed) of Allah. Accepting the truth means accepting the whole truth without any doubt. It means believing that Allah is all wise, all powerful, and He is the only law giver. That means believing that His verdict on a matter is the best verdict for mankind, and the only verdict that should be implemented without question. No one should ever entertain the idea of placing any of Allah’s verdicts under the scrutiny of defective human intellect. So what could be standing between people who possess all their faculties of reason and perception and accepting the truth that they are naturally made to see? The answer is arrogance.
Oh, good. A topic Abu appears to be familiar with.
The point is very clear. Arrogance has slam shut the doors of paradise for many well intention Muslims who simply divest the truth of Allah in preference for the own flawed intellectual reasoning.
I think I'll take my chances in hell, dickweed.

#2  I don't have my Koran notes with me but there is a verse in which Allah says he could have saved all souls from hell if he wanted but he didn't want to.

It reminded me of a portion of Augustine's writings except Allah's version didn't bother with the theological stuff.

#5  Moslem heaven sounds like being a freshman homeroom teacher in a girls high school with extra large classes (72 students). For all eternity.

And all they serve for lunch in the teachers cafeteria is a bowl of raisins.

#6  Einstein and Salk, two Jews who worked for the benefit of society.

Try to think of a muslim who has achieved anywhere near that level of notoriety. When you take away the ones with blood on their hands, there are none.

Home Front: Economy
Those Doggone Marines Are Lucky We Were There
This is a bit of good humor from SPC Phil Van Treuren, Legal Specialist on deployment in the Gulf Coast with the Army National Guard soldiers of Ohio’s 73rd Troop Command. They are helping put the pieces back together after the storms.

In spite of a stalemate following a heroic battle to set up a massive mutant tent in the soggy Mississippi gloom on our first night at Stennis International Airport, we Army National Guard soldiers of Ohio’s 73rd Troop Command were confident that, when daylight came, the rest of our shelters would be conquered lickety-split.

Unfortunately, we underestimated the immense determination and willpower of the tents.

We banged and tugged and sweated and cursed for hours in the humid 100-degree weather, but those suckers were more intent on remaining shapeless masses of canvass than we were on turning them into homes-away-from-home. Not many of us had been deployed before, and no one in our company had ever tangled with one of these newly-issued models.

A company of Marines was briefly stationed in a hangar just down the road, and a few of their members out for a walk saw us fumbling with the tents. They asked if we needed any help.

We looked at the Marines, then looked back at the tents. Uh, sure, we told them. We’ll let you help, if you don’t have anything else to do.

The Marines left for their hangar and returned a few minutes later with dozens of their comrades walking in file behind them. We stepped aside and marveled as they wordlessly took control of the canvasses and mallets and stakes and started raising the shelters like automatons that had been programmed to do just that.

Within an hour, they had all of the tents up.

The Marines tipped their hats to us and left for their hangar, again in file. We thanked them, reassured each other that we could have put the darned things up ourselves if we had to, and went inside of the shelters to get out of the sun.

So they could put up some tents. Big deal. We still had them beat when it came to filing papers and monitoring troop levels in the Tactical Operation Center. And where would they be if we weren’t around to do that?

Yup, those doggone Marines are lucky we were there for them. Real lucky.
