...So much this. I'm guessing right after Christmas, there will be a very quiet, discreet meeting with the President and Dr. Jill explaining that there should be - can NOT be - any attempt at a second term. Should there be any resistance....well, there is a lot of information on Hunter out there, and it's bad enough. We'd hate to see any more come out.
You know, I just re-read that, and there's a problem - I don't think the Democratic party leadership is self-aware enough to do it that well. Even if they do convince the Bidens to back off, (musical cue please) "What do you do with a problem like Kamala?"

1. Kamala -as Pres - will pick Newsome as her VP. Hence his meeting at the White House awhile back while Slow Joe was in Delaware. This will happen before next year to take advantage of their current majority in Congress
2. She will then be presented with a private opportunity to guide some meaningful enterprise that will burnisher her image (if possible) and resign the Presidency next year.
3. Newsome will be President and start the whole mess again.
Alternatively, Kamala will select Barack as VP, resign, and BO will have his 3rd term -or - Harris will pick Michele (despite her protests that she doesn't want the job) and we get the first woman of color president.
Think it's too improbable? I would have also a couple of years ago. Remember - this is the party that put up Fetterman - the love child of Lurch and Uncle Fester - into a debate.

I would not be surprised to read that joe had a health issue on election night as the returns were coming in. Announcement timed to wet blanket any GOP victory and in hopes of getting some dancing on his grave quotes from the right (the way the Wellstone Funeral did on the left) that they can use against the GOP.

How big is their logistics pipeline? Can they train that many would-be soldiers to any standard better than 'Bullet Catcher" in less than a 12-to-16 months*? Will it take until Spring '23?
*Note: I am curious as to how many of their units took enough casualties to be unable to provide sufficient cadre. Their overall performance is suggestive that their training wasn't too good to start with (I am not talking about courage, just military professionalism)
