[Topeka Capital-Journal] OVERLAND PARK -- U.S. Senate candidate Milton Were Wolf
...President Obama's outspoken TEA party cousin, the doctor...
posted a collection of gruesome X-ray images of gunshot fatalities and medical injuries to his Facebook page and participated in online commentary layered with macabre jokes and descriptions of carnage. Some of the images depicted the dead, some the undead.

It's his tasteless narrative that destroys his credibility and professionalism, not the x-ray images. When will people finally learn that Facebook and similar social media outlets are not their friends ?

Facebook etc is forever. So are we to get outrageously outraged by a not groomed career politician telling Law and Order jokes about heavy trauma to a generation of Americans who get queesy opening a package of meat from a grocery store?
These were public images, so I feel safe guessing that all identification was removed so its not like an EMT at scene being leud, or Chuck Hagel getting really excited about his staff retiring to some nice island then gutting military paychecks.

There are probably only two reasons this would affect anyone outside of Kansas. First, Wolf wins and pads TEA party numbers in the Senate. The other, Roberts and Wolf destroy each other and the democrats slip in. State and federal Kansas democrats tend to be complete party machines (looks at the HHS).
Roberts has had a fine, long career in the Senate. I would be nice to see him retire gracefully. However, his cakewalk turned sour a few weeks back when it was released that he hasn't even pretended to live in state for however many terms. Now its a contest, and this is likely establishment Republican, which Roberts is, counterpunching TEA Republican.
Wolf is young, has a recognizable name, has a doctorate, is in the medical field, has an anecdote (Obama cousin), and remained conservative throughout his education at KU. So far, as far as I can tell, he is running on not-Roberts, which was not much until recently. If you think that the Senate is too important to gamble upon and he does have a decent voting record then Roberts is your choice.
KU is full of dedicated leftists - remember that journalism professor of a few months back? What would be a story would be Roberts receiving assistance from KU affiliates.
[The Blaze] Power Tweet: "Daniel Pearl's story is reminder that individual accountability & reconciliation are required to break cycles of violence." @DanielPearlFNDN Her "accountability and reconciliation" comment would indicate she's now earned her White House creds by coming out of the the regime's anti-Israel, Broederbond closet. Wik memory jogger: On February 21, 2002, a videotape was released titled The Slaughter of the Spy-Journalist, the Jew Daniel Pearl. The video shows Pearl's mutilated body, and lasts 3 minutes and 36 seconds.
During the [capture] video, Pearl said:
My name is Daniel Pearl. I'm a Jewish American from Encino, California, USA. I come from, uh, on my father's side the family is Zionist. My father's Jewish, my mother's Jewish, I'm Jewish. My family follows Judaism. We've made numerous family visits to Israel.
In addition, Pearl was required to condemn American foreign policy. However, his parents have stated that this was propaganda, and that Pearl was in fact "a proud American, and he abhorred extremist ideologies." The family also listed some signals from Pearl in the video which shows he disagreed with what he was forced to say.
Following these statements, Daniel Pearl's throat was slit, and his head was severed.
The ending of the video concludes with the captors demanding the release of all Muslim prisoners in Guantanamo Bay, and warns that if their demands are not met, they would repeat the scene "again and again."
But then Khalid Sheikh Mohammed was captured, and the scene has not been repeated.
Update: U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Power on Monday issued a "correction" tweet saying that she meant the Daniel Pearl Foundation, not Daniel Pearl's killing, was a "reminder that individual accountability + reconciliation are required to break cycles of violence."
So what is the foundation accountable for in the non-cycle of violence that led to Mr. Pearl's torture and beheading? The tweets responding to the update will no doubt be as amusing as those responding to her original eruption.
Perhaps Ms. Power meant that individual accountability was required of Mr. Pearl's killers: that they had to die, after which we could have peace. If that's what she meant, I'm down with it.
[Washington Post] National Security Adviser Susan Rice said Sunday that she has no regrets about comments she made in 2012 about the Benghazi attacks that killed two U.S. diplomats, including U.S. Ambassador to Libya J. Christopher Stevens.
Rice, who was then the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, said during numerous talk-show interviews after the incidents that an inflammatory anti-Muslim video appeared to have sparked the violence.
Speaking on "Meet the Press," Rice acknowledged her statements turned out "not to be 100 percent correct," but she said the mistake was not intentional and that the Obama administration did not try to mislead the American people.
Shamelessly unrepentant, narcissistic swagger and denial, disguised as a simple error. It appears to have gone viral within the regime administration. Unfortunately, there is no known cure.

Truly disgusting. She has no regrets about Steven's death or the others who died there. No regrets about lying to the American Public. And I believe she was fully involved on the cover-up and video storyline.
I would call her a bitch but that would be an grave insult to female canines.
And I'm sure she isn't the only one - the state department seems to be infested with these vermin.
WASHINGTON A senior White House official says the U.S. remains focused on finding those responsible for the Sept. 11, 2012, attack on U.S. diplomatic facilities in Benghazi, Libya, that killed Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans.
Susan Rice said on NBC's "Meet the Press" on Sunday that the U.S. has "made progress" in the search for the perpetrators, but she did not elaborate. She said U.S. officials are committed to pursuing it until they succeed.
Rice was heavily criticized when she said in a series of talk show appearances five days after the Benghazi attack that it was linked to mob protests over an anti-Islamic film. Al-Qaida-linked militant groups were later blamed for the attacks. At the time she made that statement, Rice was U.S. ambassador to the United Nations.
